ये घटना उस वक़्त की है जब श्री राम लंका विजय करके अयोध्या लौट आते है और अयोध्या के राजा बन जाते है। एक दिन यम देवता कोई महत्तवपूर्ण चर्चा करने श्री राम के पास आते है। चर्चा प्रारम्भ करने से पूर्व वो भगवान राम से कहते है की आप जो भी प्रतिज्ञा करते हो उसे पूर्ण करते हो। मैं भी आपसे एक वचन मांगता हूं कि जब तक मेरे और आपके बीच वार्तालाप चले तो हमारे बीच कोई नहीं आएगा और जो आएगा, उसको आपको मृत्युदंड देना पड़ेगा। भगवान राम, यम को वचन दे देते है।
राम, लक्ष्मण को यह कहते हुए द्वारपाल नियुक्त कर देते है की जब तक उनकी और यम की बात हो रही है वो किसी को भी अंदर न आने दे, अन्यथा उसे उन्हें मृत्युदंड देना पड़ेगा। लक्ष्मण भाई की आज्ञा मानकर द्वारपाल बनकर खड़े हो जाते है...

पाकिस्तान में है भगवान शिव का यह अद्भुत मंदिर (Katasraj Temple)
प्राचीन काल में भारत का हिस्सा रहा कटासराज तीर्थ लोगों की आस्था का केंद्र था. लेकिन बंटवारे के कारण यह पाकिस्तान का हिस्सा हो गया। धीरे-धीरे लोग इसको भूल गए। आज भी इसकी मान्यता कम नहीं हुई है। इस तीर्थ स्थल के अंग्रेज भी कायल थे। यहां पर लगने वाला कुंभ का मेला हर किसी को अपनी ओर खींच लेता था।
सभी जानते हैं भगवान शिव बहुत ही दयालु है तथा अति शीघ्र प्रसन्न हो जाते है. विश्वभर में उनके अनेको मंदिर है जिनमे कुछ मंदिर का निर्माण हाल ही के वर्षो में हुआ है तथा कुछ अत्यंत प्राचीन है. इन्ही प्राचीन मंदिरो में से भगवान शिव का एक मंदिर पाकिस्तान में भी है जो पाकिस्तान के चकवाल गाव से लगभग 40 किलोमीटर दूर एक पहाड़ी पर कटस नामक स्थान पर स्थित है.
पाकिस्तान में स्थित इस मंदिर को कटासराज (Katasraj Temple) के नाम से जाना जाता है. इस मंदिर में भगवान शिव का शिवलिंग स्थापित है तथा इस मंदिर के बारे में कहा जाता ही की यह महाभारत के समय त्रेतायुग में भी था परन्तु कुछ लोगो का कहना है की यह मंदिर सिर्फ 900 साल पुराना है. इस मंदिर में स्वयंसंभु शिव का शिवलिंग स्थापित है तथा लोगो की मान्यता है जब पांडव वनवास के समय यहाँ आये थे तो उन्होंने इस मंदिर और शिवलिंग का निर्माण किया था.
पांडवो ने वनवास के समय लगभग चार साल यहाँ बिताये थे तथा अपने रहने के लिए सात महलो का निर्माण करवाया था जो अब सात मंदिर के नाम से कटासराज में स्थित है. पाकिस्तान में स्थित यह कटासराज मंदिर वहा रह रहे केवल हिन्दू अल्पसंख्यको के श्रद्धा का ही केंद्र नही है बल्कि मंदिर के साथ लगा बौद्ध स्तूप तथा सिख हवेलिया वहाँ बसे अन्य अल्पसंख्यक समुदायों के लिए भी श्रद्धा का केंद्र है.
भगवान शिव के आंसुओ से बना है मंदिर का कुण्ड !
कटासराज मंदिर के निकट ही एक सुन्दर कुण्ड भी है जिसका पानी दो रंग का है. जिस स्थान पर कुण्ड के पानी कम गहरा है उस स्थान पर कुण्ड के पानी का रंग हरा तथा अधिक गहरे स्थान वाली जगह पर पानी का रंग नीला है. मान्यता है मंदिर के इस कुण्ड का निर्माण भगवान शिव के आसु से हुआ था. जब भगवान शिव की पत्नी सती हवन कुण्ड की अग्नि में कूद गयी तो उनके वियोग में भगवान शिव के आँखों से दो बून्द आसु गिरे थे. भगवान शिव के आंसू के एक बून्द से कटासराज (Katasraj Temple) के इस कुण्ड का निर्माण हुआ तथा दूसरा आंसू का बून्द पुष्कर में गिरा था. यह भी कहा जाता है की इसी कुण्ड के तट पर महाभारत काल में यक्ष ने युधिष्ठर से प्रश्न पूछे थे.
क्या है इस मंदिर की मान्यता:-
लोगों का मानना है कि इस तीर्थ के तालाब में नहाने से ईश्वर सारे पाप क्षमा कर देते हैं और मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है। देश के कोने-कोने से अनेक धर्मों के लोग यहां आते हैं और पूजा अर्चना करते हैं। यह मंदिर 1947 से पाकिस्तान भारत बटवारे के बाद से बंद पड़ा था, हाल ही के कुछ वर्षो में पाकिस्तान सरकार ने इस मंदिर का जीर्णोद्वार कराया है तथा अब दुनिया भर से श्रद्धालु इस मंदिर के दर्शन के लिए यहाँ आ रहे है. हिन्दूओ का विश्वाश है की इस मंदिर के पवित्र कुण्ड में स्नान करने से व्यक्ति द्वारा किये गए समस्त पापो से मुक्ति मिलती है तथा वह मोक्ष को प्राप्त होता है. अतः मंदिर में भगवान शिव की पूजा के बाद सभी श्रद्धालु इस कुण्ड में स्नान करना नही भूलते !
It is said that the foundation of the Mandir was laid by none other than Lord Krishna and he himself rested down the handmade Shiv Ling inside the Mandir. Pakistan Government is now considering nominating Katasraj Temple Complex for World Heritage Status.

RAMAYANA: A MYTH OR REALITY?, BHARAT DARSHAN:exploring the unexplored(Episode-3)
In this show of our documentary travelogue on Doordarshan, Bharat Darshan: exploring the unexplored, Sukhnidhey Films ( brings to light some facts to compel you to seriously question whether the great Indian epic, Ramayana deserves the Mythology tag. We take you to some forgotten lands which find mentions in the Ramayana, and in whose culture the events of the epic are so deeply embedded. We take our viewers to witness two ancient forgotten lands, Kamadgiri and Sita Samahit Sthal,situated in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh respectively. They are associated with numerous events in the great Indian epic, and one of the most ancient literary account in the world- the Ramayana. Kamadgiri mountains are a part of central India's Vindyachal mountain ranges, where Lord Ram, His consort, Goddess Sita and His brother, Laksman spent a considerable period of their exile.
An ancient temple of Kamadnathji marks the spot where Lord Rama Himself used to pray for success in His quest to wipe out the clan of the evil Rakshasas, or the demons who had conquered even death.
We also see the place where Lord Ram met His brother, Bharat,during the exile, when the latter requested Him to return back. Lord Ram refused however, and Bharat took away his sandals (Charan Padukayen) along. According to locals, those sandals can still be seen in a temple, Bharat milap temple, which marks the spot.
Next, we take you to Sitamarhi, the place which was once the site of the Valmiki Ashram (hermitage of Saint Valmiki, the author of the Ramayana). It was here that the Saint Valmiki wrote the great epic. The Ramayana describes how later Lord Rama abandoned Goddess Sita when His subjects questioned her chastity. She then took refuge at this very place in the Valmiki ashram, where she later also gave birth to Lord Ram's two sons, Luv and Kush. They were brought up in the same hermitage, and later caught hold of Lord Ram's Ashvamedha Yajna horse, the Yagna being a sacrificial ritual in ancient India to establish a King's rule over all regions where a horse, let loose, freely runs into.
Later in the story, Goddess Sita took her final refuge in Mother Earth, after being asked to prove her chastity. It is said that on hearing her prayers, Sitamarhi's earth erupted, and took Her within. The place was then famously called, Sita Samahit Sthal (The Place where Sita took refuge into the Earth). The exact spot can still be seen here.
So, hold your breath, tighten your seat belts and come along with us as we take you to this divine place, gather and document historical evidences on this enchanting journey, studying the architectural features and critically examining the events as described in the ancient Indian texts, and as we see them first hand. King Janaka found Sita while ploughing field : Ramlila (2017)
Maa Sita was discovered in a groove of ploughed field by King Janaka. So Sita – Daughter of Bhumidevi, who got adopted by Janaka and Sunaya. When King Janaka was ploughing a field to perform Yagna, Sita appeared splitting the earth. Having no children of his own, he put her affectionately on his lap. Overwhelmed with love for her, King declared her as his own child. Raja Janak was the king of Mithilaa. Janak was his family name. His real name was Seeradhwaj. His wife Rani Sunaya brought up Sita as her own daughter.
Ramlila, India’s most famous theatrical experience. Ramlila is the enactment of the story of Lord Rama. In Ramlila, the life of Rama is shown in the form of a series of plays. This story of Rama’s life is enacted to mark his victory over Ravana and his return to his kingdom. The complete life story of Rama is covered in ten days. The 10th day is celebrated as Dussehra (Vijaya Dashami) – the day of victory when Rama defeats the Demon King Ravana.
Shri Shraddha Ramlila established In 2008 and in very short span of time it has achieved the recognition as favorite Ramlila Manchan in Faridabad. Since its inception, the committee has been organizing Ramlila Manchan in Sec 15 Community Center Park Faridabad. The Committee is being governed by the Office Bearers, Elected out of Dignitaries, Social Workers, Prominent Citizens, Businessmen and other learned personalities. None of the Team Members, Artists & Patents are commercially associated and only work as ‘Sewa Bhawna’ with the committee.

RAMAYANA: A MYTH OR REALITY?, BHARAT DARSHAN:exploring the unexplored(Episode-3)
In this show of our documentary travelogue on Doordarshan, Bharat Darshan: exploring the unexplored, Sukhnidhey Films ( brings to light some facts to compel you to seriously question whether the great Indian epic, Ramayana deserves the Mythology tag. We take you to some forgotten lands which find mentions in the Ramayana, and in whose culture the events of the epic are so deeply embedded. We take our viewers to witness two ancient forgotten lands, Kamadgiri and Sita Samahit Sthal,situated in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh respectively. They are associated with numerous events in the great Indian epic, and one of the most ancient literary account in the world- the Ramayana. Kamadgiri mountains are a part of central India's Vindyachal mountain ranges, where Lord Ram, His consort, Goddess Sita and His brother, Laksman spent a considerable period of their exile.
An ancient temple of Kamadnathji marks the spot where Lord Rama Himself used to pray for success in His quest to wipe out the clan of the evil Rakshasas, or the demons who had conquered even death.
We also see the place where Lord Ram met His brother, Bharat,during the exile, when the latter requested Him to return back. Lord Ram refused however, and Bharat took away his sandals (Charan Padukayen) along. According to locals, those sandals can still be seen in a temple, Bharat milap temple, which marks the spot.
Next, we take you to Sitamarhi, the place which was once the site of the Valmiki Ashram (hermitage of Saint Valmiki, the author of the Ramayana). It was here that the Saint Valmiki wrote the great epic. The Ramayana describes how later Lord Rama abandoned Goddess Sita when His subjects questioned her chastity. She then took refuge at this very place in the Valmiki ashram, where she later also gave birth to Lord Ram's two sons, Luv and Kush. They were brought up in the same hermitage, and later caught hold of Lord Ram's Ashvamedha Yajna horse, the Yagna being a sacrificial ritual in ancient India to establish a King's rule over all regions where a horse, let loose, freely runs into.
Later in the story, Goddess Sita took her final refuge in Mother Earth, after being asked to prove her chastity. It is said that on hearing her prayers, Sitamarhi's earth erupted, and took Her within. The place was then famously called, Sita Samahit Sthal (The Place where Sita took refuge into the Earth). The exact spot can still be seen here.
