DISNEY PARK BLOG : Today we are thrilled to share a first glimpse of a project Imagineers have been working on since last year. Splash Mountain – at both Disneyland park in California and Magic Kingdom park in Florida – will soon be completely reimagined. The theme is inspired by an all-time favorite animated Disney film, “The Princess and the Frog.” We pick up this story after the final kiss, and join Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film – as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.

Enjoy a ride experience video of Splash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom in 4K! As I'm sure you all know by now, Splash Mountain will be rethemed to Princess and the Frog in late 2024. I tried to film a pretty detailed video of the queue & ride, but so much is either broken or not working properly lol. It's a shame but Disney definitely won't fix anything since it'll close permanently in the coming months. There will be a couple more Splash Mountain videos posted on here before it closes for sure. This was filmed on October 19th 2022 from around 2pm - 2:30pm
