► Philippines series 2017 (Palawan):

► Philippines series 2018 (Siquijor, Sipalay, Antique, Islas de Gigantes & Guimaras):

NOTE! I don’t keep prices well when traveling, and prices change over the years so I won’t be able to include them.. I am sorry!
Also: order down here is random, not to spoil the video :P
Also: there is more info about individual places in the descriptionboxes of the video’s I made about those places!

--BOHOL—
► Sleep at Guindulman Bay Tourist Inn:
Go see:
► Waterfalls of Candijay (can-umantad falls)
► Rice fields of Candijay
► Lamanok island tour
► Hike behind the hotel and see the amazing valley! Just walk the road inland from Guindulman bay tourist inn for 20 minutes or so!

--LINAPACAN--
I did my tour with Buhay Isla!

--PORT BARTON--
►Hotel: I honestly think there are so many new places, I do not dare to make a recommendation!
►Tours: Jeremy & Jake tours is the one I’d recommend! Did you know I made and organize their FB page?  Just a fun fact! I made it cause I really believe in them!

--SIARGAO--
There are multiple hotels I can recommend.
►Surfing Carabao:
My favorite!
►Ocean 101:
►Kawili: (also for food)
►Tourcompany I used and recommend is My Siargao Guide (book with them through Bravo resort).
Other places to check out (especially if you rent your own bike):
►Pacifico, long drive but popular surf spot and beach
►Magpungko Rock pool, which is apparently very stunning when the sun is out!
►Tayangban Cave Pool
►Tak tak waterfall

--SIQUIJOR--
►Hotel: Garden Bungalows resort (loved it!)
►Tours I booked through the hotel. Though I would recommend getting a motorcycle and find the waterfalls, beaches and good spots all yourself!

--SIPALAY—
► Sleep in Takatuka resort (featured in the video):
►Take a tour to Danjugan Island (arranged by hotel)
►Tour the main attractions of Sipalay itself (1000 pesos half a day or 1500 whole day). Excluding fees along the way.
Including Perth resort (infinity pool), the cave, one more resort and special places along the way.
You can arrange this tour with Roland Dequina – rolandtours.wordpress.com or 09489358749

--BATANES—
Visit Sabtang, Batan and Itbayat.
►Batan hotel: Nanay cita’s Homestay:
►Sabtang hotel: ask to stay at the lighthouse!
►Itbayat: arrive and ask for the mayor or miss Cano (when I was there these were the only homestays)
►Tours Batan: there is a northern and a southern tour on Batan. Do both of them! You can fit them in 1 day but rather take 2.
►Tours Itbayat: do the general island tour but ALSO the sunrise tour! That one is the BEST!
►Sabtang: go for the standard half a day tour or sleep at the island and take the extended tour! :D Both are good, it depends on how much time you have.

--ISLAS DE GIGANTES--
No recommendings for hotels. For tours: do the island tour for sure! It’s the best out here, and very close to each other.
Also go for the caves and lighthouse if you have time to spare, otherwise just stick to the islands.

--SIBALTAN (EL NIDO)—
►Sleep in Tapik Beach:
You can do all the tours in El Nido from here, just ask at the resort. Also I’d recommend to do an island tour around Sibaltan, ask for the good corals! Mangrove tour is nice, only if you have time to spare.

--CORON—
Not found a specific hotel I can recommend here.
DEFINITELY do the ULTIMATE island tour! You’ll see the lakes and good corals, the shipwrecks and the islands. If you do Buhay Isla or an other Linapacan tour, ask what they already cover cause there might be overlap here.
Climb mount Dalara if you’re done with islands 

My 7 Favorite Countries in Asia (#1 Continent)

Asia has been my home since 2013 when I moved to South Korea to teach English. Over the last 8 years, I've lived in Vietnam, the Philippines and currently Thailand -- and I've been to every country on the beautiful continent of Asia.

Each culture in Asia is very unique -- from religions to traditions, nature, history, cuisines and rituals -- and it provides endless opportunities to learn and discover. But above anything else, THE PEOPLE of Asia are the most hospitable and welcoming as they come.

Admittedly, it has been very hard to choose only 7 of my favorite Asian countries to feature in this video (because I truly love every place for a different reason) -- but when it all comes down to it, these would be my 7 favorite countries on this amazing place called Asia!

THE PHILIPPINES, SOUTH KOREA, SINGAPORE, VIETNAM, NEPAL, INDONESIA, JAPAN

What would be your top 7 in Asia? Why? Please comment below and let's get the discussion started!

PS - I kept this video limited to East/South/Southeast Asian countries. While the Middle East and West/Central Asia are technically Asian countries, I consider them very culturally different. Iran and Tajikistan would be on this list if it was all of Asia!

Top 10 Philippines: On Tour with Flying The Nest

If you haven’t been following along as Stephen and Jess of Flying The Nest travel through the Philippines, you’ve been seriously missing out. The couple have been exploring, tasting, and adventuring their way through this gorgeous part of the world, and we’ve been thrilled to watch their travels! The only problem? They experienced so many amazing things, they couldn’t fit them all in their videos! To make up for it, they’re giving us bonus content, exclusive to TourRadar - and today, they’re telling us all about their top ten experiences in the Philippines!

There are always new experiences to be had when you travel, but one of the best parts of travelling on a tour is that you can discover places and things you may not have ever had the opportunity to otherwise! Stephen and Jess agree; they count their visit to El Nido and their incredible camping trip on an active volcano as two of their favourite experiences, and it’s easy to see why from the incredible footage they’ve captured.

Of course, everyone knows that some of the best travel memories come with food! Stephen and Jess ate their way through the Philippines, and they encourage everyone else who visits this beautiful country to do the same. You don’t have to ask us twice!

The Philippines is home to some seriously beautiful spots - from 2000-year-old rice terraces to one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World to the “Small Lagoon,” a perfect area for kayaking, you’ll find yourself gasping with every new sight. Is there such a thing as too much natural beauty? Of course not.

It’s not just about natural beauty, though. Also ranking high on Stephen and Jess’ list of experiences in the Philippines is a stroll through the streets of Manila. This fast-paced city is home to markets, shopping, great food, and, of course, some great photo-ops. Be sure to explore and chat with some of the locals - especially since meeting them comes in at number 8 on Stephen and Jess’ list.

Have we convinced you that the Philippines are paradise yet? Good! If you can’t resist their call for any longer, head over to TourRadar and find the best deals on this itinerary and plenty of other incredible tours to the Philippines.

The BEST $220 Boat Tour in El Nido, Philippines (with my dad!) ????????

Free travel creator community:
Travel Creator School:

El Nido, Philippines ➖ The most recommended thing to do here in El Nido is an island hopping tour. So my dad and I decided to rent out a boat for $220 and go on an exciting day trip around the islands
The tour began at 8am as we set out from the main port of El Nido. Along the way, we were able to take in the breathtaking views of the different islands and admire the crystal blue waters. We stopped at some of the many small islands and beaches where we got to swim, snorkel and explore the unique ecosystems of the area. We then enjoyed red horse, coconuts and lunch on one of the islands before getting home before the weather turned!

Foreigners Can Pay Like Indians Now! India's Amazing UPI

Did you know you don't have to use cash or credit cards when you travel to India? Now foreign tourists can load foreign currency into a digital wallet when they arrive at the airport. This technology is called UPI (Unified Payment Interface) and is India's impressive instant real-time payment system.

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a real-time payment system developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) that facilitates inter-bank transactions. It allows users to transfer money from one bank account to another instantly and securely, without the need for the recipient's bank details like account number or IFSC code.

With UPI, users can make payments using their mobile phones, without the need for cash, credit/debit cards or net banking. UPI transactions can be initiated and completed using mobile apps provided by banks or third-party payment service providers.

UPI has become a popular mode of payment in India since its launch in 2016 and is now widely used for a variety of transactions, including peer-to-peer payments, bill payments, mobile recharges, and online shopping. The success of UPI has helped promote digital payments and financial inclusion in the country.
