I asked her to keep the top long, but give me a nice fade on the side -- a little haircut trim all around. She used the electric clippers to fade? and then the barber scissors to cut the split ends off the top.
Melissa, a female barber, has been working for about a year and loves her job. She can do nails -- manicure, pedicure, nail gel color, nail extensions, and nail art.

Why do I have a 14 year old bodyguard in this video? He was helping his father cut tiles next door beside the barbershop. His father said he would stop cutting while I make the video, as long as his son gets to he in it. So, I agreed and made him security/bodyguard. I hope he enjoyed it. ????

1. My GoPro Hero 10 kept overheating. Therefore, it started to become something I was worried about after about 16 minutes in.
I will keep a backup camera ready to go to prevent this from happening again.
2. The day before this video I ended up going to the hospital due to something that was bothering me for 3 days.
I thought my blood sugar was way off and I was just having weird symptons and after the 3rd day I was like let's get it checked out,
I'm alone. so if I wake up dead or have a stroke or whatever, I wouldn't have anyone to maybe be the goalie to keep the ball out of being put in the ground.
My throat was also affected so I didn't really want to talk too much.. Not that I do anyways, but something to mention.
3. The more and more I do these videos, the more and more I am learning about what I need to make better haircut videos.
I definitely have to stop saying okay after I ask somebody their name that I don't understand. Bad habit. I'm okay with being quiet for 80% of the video.
I do like to just let the barber do their job. If they want to talk. They'll say something. and if we speak the same language. I'll do my best to expand my
conversation skills with them as can be seen in my video with Murali. But being an introvert, I know it's far from perfect. It's something I need to continue to work on.

Leo gave me a fade haircut. I asked him to keep the top long. He did exactly as asked and styled it handsomely. For the shave, he used a hot towel to soften the skin, and a straight razor to cut the lines. At the end of the shave, an ice cold towel was placed over the face to clean it up and wake me up.
With me in this video is the lovely Carla Marie Rupp, my mother.

I asked Apollo for a haircut and a beard trim. I was given the ULTIMATE CLASSIC BARBERSHOP haircut experience. This video has a lot of NO TALKING Barber ASMR to help you sleep and relax.
This barber showed me a special razor beard trimming technique, which is rarely seen. That means he didn't use the clippers to shorten my beard, but instead a razor and comb.
This video has a lot of scissor work on the haircut and the beard.

I fell in love with this 55 yr old classic barbershop -- so clean and orderly. The barber here is 76 years old and has a wife 70 years old -- both healthy and strong. He has two daughters.
This single chair barbershop is is run by Hector Manuel Apollo Dominguez Loyo.
Price was 110 Mexican Pesos for a the shave and 110 Mexican Pesos for the haircut. The total is 220 Pesos is about $11 USD.

Number76 was born in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo, in the year 2001. Founder Daisuke Hamaguchi started a little hair salon with his only assistant back then and called it HairStyleShop NALU. He wanted to have a salon with the concept of a style shop, where customers can casually change to hair designs that they fancy just like how one changes his or her fashion items.
BIg thanks to the hair designer Ivan who transform my wife hair.
