A big thank you to @Vessi for sponsoring this video! During this trip to Toronto, the timing aligned with it being Easter weekend and a special occasion buffet was being offered at the Ritz Carlton. I just couldn't resist and decided to splurge a bit. What does a buffet at the Ritz-Carlton look like? I intended to find out!
A lavish buffet took place at Toca, an Italian Restaurant within the Ritz. While early in the morning, there was already a line forming and the servers and hosts were all prepared and at the ready. Carving station with prime rib and lamb? check!
Traditional breakfast stations? check!
A luxurious seafood station with lobster, king crab, fresh oysters? double check!
And if all that wasn't enough, some dishes even come to you (and in the form of a giant parmesan wheel/bowl)! Freshly made mushroom risotto finished with a toss and coating with parmesan served table side.
And if that wasn't enough, a walk-in cheese cave converted to a dessert cave served up decadent desserts that were second to none! Not to understate this, all the desserts were uniquely made with intricate components architectured skillfully so layers and surprises of the delicious goodness are revealed as one indulges. How do I know? I got a chance to visit the Cafe Sierra restaurant about 3 years back and so glad to see them back up and running again! Along with the great food, it was the great people there that made it special.
And during this visit, it was just like old times! The mountains of King Crab, mounds of lobsters cooked and plated to order, and beautiful roasts from prime rib to an absolutely succulent bbq duck. While the price has gone up, so has the quality and quantity.. the best of both worlds.

????ROASTED LAMB LEG: Pour olive oil on the lamb legs. Rub seasalt and pepper on them. Place on the grill for 3 hours. Flip every 45 minutes. Spread a concoction of melted butter and garlic. | Bone in ribeye: Same process but it takes 4.5 to 5 hours to be fully cooked.
????TUNA SASHIMI: Slice the tuna’s back thinly. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, white radish, perilla leaves, pickled ginger, lime and lemon cuts.
????????GRILLED GEODUCK: Blanch the geoduck. Place it on the grill. Grill for 2 minutes then add scallion oil and ground peanut.
????GRILLED SNAILS: Grill the snails for three minutes. Add scallion oil.
????STEAMED CANADIAN LOBSTER: Cut the lobster in half. Place it in the steamer for 10 minutes.
????FETTUCCINE PASTA WITH FOIE GRAS & TRUFFLE: Pasta: Mix 13 egg yolks with flour, sea salt, blended beetroot (red color) or spinach (green color). Roll it out and coat with flour. Cut into fettuccine shape.| The dish: pan sear the foie gras and heat up the green mushroom sauce. Blanch the pasta. Plate the foie gras over the pasta, garnish with slices of Burgundy truffle

Being I'm here on a weekend, I was going to search for Spain's Sunday's Best! The Best Sunday Brunch in Spain and I came across the @InterConMadrid hotel that just happened to be hosting their weekly Sunday Buffet. It certainly did not disappoint.
A rotunda for fine Spanish and intercontinental dishes and free flowing drinks from Cava to wines and beer! And it gets even better with indulgent luxury items such as lobster, caviar, foie gras and of course the Jamón ibérico (Iberian ham). If meats are what you're after, they've got that covered too with prime rib and the most tender and crispy suckling pig ever tasted! The best Lechon ever!.

Waikiki Night Market Street Food & Hawaii's Legendary Seafood Buffet!
Another day in Hawaii and another day of exploration and eats! ...and Waikiki certainly makes eating easy as there is the Waikiki Night Street Market that's happening with many food vendors offering dishes from local seafood such as Kona Abolone to savoury delights such as lechon, prochetta, brisket and more!
But before that, I get to to explore and visit a legendary buffet where all the locals eat; that's the weekend seafood buffet at the 100 Sails Restaurant. If it's the go to buffet for locals, then we're in for a treat! It certainly lived up expectations and then some! Local seafood in many different form factors! From the fresh poke and sashimi, to the perfectly fried up crustaceans, and of overflowing mountain a steamed crab, it was seafood heaven! But what if you don't like seafood you might ask? Well, they've got that covered, turn to the other stations and lo and behold, you'll be a carving station where crispy prochetta and tender prime rib are being slices and served over and over again!

Best Lobster Buffet in NYC! | Feasting on fresh Lobsters, Crabs, and more seafood!
After visiting what I consider is America's best Lobster and Seafood buffet, I got a chance to do some exploring in New York City. And as luck would have it, I just so happened to find an unlimited all you can eat Lobster buffet just a few minutes away from my hotel, right here in New York City!
Will it be as good as the Nordic Buffet? ...well, I think there's only one way to find out. And since this doesn't involve a 3 - 4 hour drive to Rhode Island, I made my reservation in a heartbeat.
As it turned out, the decision was a good one! The Crab House offered what they called a contactless buffet with an assortment of great fresh seafood. It's essentially a buffet, but the food comes to you and made fresh to order. Many varieties of lobsters, crabs, and all types of seafood! And just as good as the seafood dishes were, so were the meats and sides... Make sure to try the iron steak and those delectable garlic noodles as recommended by Diana.
A very different experience than the Nordic buffet and just as good.
