Auschwitz-Birkenau was the primary site of the Nazi's final solution to the Jewish problem. It is estimated that 1.3 million people were sent to Auschwitz and of these, 1.1 million died. Most people deported to Auschwitz were sent immediately to the gas chambers. Those who did not die in the gas chambers died of other causes, including starvation, infection, medical experimentation, and forced labor.
Auschwitz isn’t somewhere you ‘want’ to visit, but it’s certainly somewhere that you should visit - a place you'll never forget.

This summer, we had the chance to spend a week exploring Halifax in partnership with Tourism Nova Scotia and the cuisine was a real highlight.
Our quest for a taste of the Maritimes led us to all sorts of restaurants, breweries, distilleries, pubs and outdoor patios, and we’re going to be sharing them all in this video. We’ll dive into the seafood scene with dishes ranging from lobster roll to risotto with scallops, and seafood linguini to fusion maki rolls.
We’ll taste the beloved Halifax donair, which is the city’s must-try dish and a great street food snack. We’ll also visit a few different craft breweries, go on a sunset wine cruise, and do a spirit tasting inside the citadel.

Preparing my mom for her Malaysia & Indonesia trip! ???????? ????????
As many of you know, our parents will visit Malaysia and Indonesia this coming October.
So we went to a Malaysian restaurant here in Canada for them to try some Malaysian food for the first time! We went to Breakfast ING restaurant in Mississauga for their kaya toast, curry laksa, bah kut teh, and roti canai.
Then for dinner, Ivana cooked an Indonesian feast. The menus includes the popular Indomie, yellow fried chicken, yellow curry, and stir fried bitter melon! Yup, the bitter melon was shocking for the parents. Check out their reaction trying Malaysian and Indonesian food.
