#16. MALAYSIA 2017 - LANGKAWI - 3 Islands In 1 Day
One of the highlights during our stay was most definitely the 3 Island Tour.
We managed to start our tour an hour earlier to avoid all the tourists. The first island is called Pulau Dayang Bunting. This is also where you will find the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden. As you pass by the mountains you will clearly see the silhouette of a pregnant lady lying on her back. This fresh water later is separated from the sea by only a small strip of rocks.
At our second island, Pulau Singa Besar, we were entertained by eagles giving us yet another spectacular show as they were feeding and diving down right next to our boat.
We got some time to relax on the beach at island number 3, Pulau Beras Basah. Spectacular clear blue turquoise waters, white sandy beaches. What better way to the end of a perfect day!

Things To Do In Langkawi | Langkawi Attractions In Malaysia
**Here I have discussed Langkawi Attractions and Things To Do In Langkawi.
Langkawi, officially known as Langkawi, the Jewel of Kedah, is a district and an archipelago of 99 islands in the Andaman Sea some 30 km off the mainland coast of northwestern Malaysia. The islands are a part of the state of Kedah, which is adjacent to the Thai border.
1. Langkawi Durian Perangin Waterfall:
This lovely waterfall has been named after the Durian trees that bear spiny oval tropical fruits and can be found in abundance around this waterfall area. Durian Perangin Waterfall is located at the northeastern side of Langkawi and north of Kilim Village. The entrance is from a car park and through small shops and stalls. this is one of Langkawi Attractions and Things To Do In Langkawi.
2. Langkawi Air Hangat Village:
Air Hangat (also spelled as Ayer Hangat) Village is a modern cultural complex located 14km north of Kuah Town. The center of the attraction here is the three-tiered hot water spring wells. this one Also Langkawi Attractions and Things To Do In Langkawi.
3.Pantai Kok, Langkawi :
The beach along Pantai Kok is dominated by mostly high-end upscale resorts like the Sheraton and Tanjung Sanctuary. The beach is beautiful with clean sands and clear waters but it’s the tourist attractions, as well as the relative peace and quiet, that makes this place so popular.
4.Tanjung Rhu, Langkawi :
Located just beyond Pantai Pasir Hitam, Tanjung Rhu has one of Langkawi’s best shorelines. The waters are as clear as crystal, the sand is powder-fine and driving towards this beach you’ll have to pass a dense corridor of the jungle.
5. Langkawi Oriental Village :
Oriental Village is best known as the home of the Langkawi Cable Car and Sky Bridge. It is a themed open-air complex with a huge lake in the center and an art gallery, animal exhibits, clothes, souvenirs, and handicraft stores spread out around it plus a few local and international restaurants.

#15. MALAYSIA 2017 - LANGKAWI KILIM GEOFOREST PARK - Why You Have To Visit This Spectacular Park!
One of the most amazing places to visit in Langkawi is the Kilim Geoforest Park! What an unforgetful adventure - cruising amongst mangroves on the Kilim river, exploring caves, floating fish farms, interaction with a stingray, soaring sea eagles feeding at an arms length. Langkawi's Best Beaches: Island Tour
Langkawi, Malaysia has several completely different (but equally enticing) beaches within a short scooter ride of the main beach in Pentai Cenang. You can even drive around the entire island in a few hours (but you should take all day) if you feel like it.
We spent a day driving around the island and another day enjoying our favorite beach (spoiler: it's Pentai Pasir Tengkorak), but explore and discover your own.
Pantai Pasir Tengkorak: Perfect white sand, warm shallow water, and shady trees. Bring your own snacks since there are few amenities here.
Tanjung Rhu Beach: Amazing beach walk and exploration at low tide. There's some signs for dangerous currents, so avoid at high tide. A few nice beach bars and vendors for food and drinks (good but a little pricey).
Eagle Square comes highly recommended by Google searches...but we weren't impressed. Skip it. Use that time on the beach!
Pantai Cenang: Great place to stay with loads of food and fun, including watersports, parasailing, jet skis, and more. End your day here with the sunset and bean bags on the beach bars by the bonfires!

The Seven Wells Waterfall is amazing! Air Terjun Waterfall was all dried up and didn't have any water today so definitely check which time of the year you are visiting Langkawi! The dry or rainy season may make all the difference!

Langkawi's BEST BEACH? (WeWillNomad)
We're on the hunt for the best beaches on the island of Langkawi!
In Part 2 of our quest to explore the beaches of Langkawi, we stop by Pantai Kok, Pantai Datai (which was a bust), Pebble Beach and Pantai Pasir Tengkorak (Sandy Skulls Beach).
We end the day for sunset on the busy Pantai Cenang.
Most of the beaches are located on the northern and western shoreline of Langkawi Island and it would be best to have your own transportation to reach all of these beaches.

LANGKAWI WAS AMAZING AND SOOO BEAUTIFUL!
We had the best time in Langkawi and would 10/10 recommend to anyone travelling Malaysia.
Included in this video:
-Jetski tour of the small islands inc. stopping at a fresh water lake and private beach: 500MR for one jetski between 2
-Spending time on Cenang Beach which was surprisingly empty during the day
-Renting a scooter and visiting the 3 waterfalls on the island and going up the Langkawi Skycab (55MR per person). The views were incredible and the ticket included a pass to the optical illusion art museum
-Cocktails on the beach while watching the sunset (22MR per cocktail)

We're on the hunt for the best beaches on the island of Langkawi!
This is only Part 1 -in the following video, we keep searching. In this video, we stop by Shark Bay Beach, Wild Beach, Black Sand Beach, Pantai Rekreasi Kastam - as well as the well known and popular Tanjung Rhu Beach.
