Zimbabwe in 2018

This is a video of Zimbabwe made from just some of the footage I've captured this year from various projects. Zimbabwe is filled with beautiful places and beautiful people. It's been quite the journey, and I've met many new people and friends along the way. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my 2018!

I Just Became A Trillionaire In Zimbabwe (#176)

Maybe you've heard about inflation in Argentina or Venezuela, or 1920s Germany if you're old school. Yeah, those countries had a crazy situation, but none of them come close to Zimbabwe, a country that really puts the hyper in hyperinflation. The largest bill they ever printed, which is also the largest in history, was 100 trillion dollars, which at it's peak was worth $0.80. Nowadays it goes for much more as a collector's item.

This was all I had ever heard about Zimbabwe. But that was more the result of one man's poor economic policies. What were the people of Zimbabwe like? What does the country look like in 2024? How is the food and matakos? Due to the turbulent history the country had with race, I was a little nervous flying in. But there was only one way to find out..

Credit to Epimetheus and Casual Historian for footage used in the montage.

RISE Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is once again coming into its own, combining a wealth of scenic landscapes, remnants of ancient civilisations, incredible wildlife and adventures galore. Two major rivers form the northern and southern boundaries of Zimbabwe: the great Zambezi, along its northern frontier, and the languid Limpopo on the country’s southern border with South Africa.

The Zambezi’s exceptional variety of spectacular scenery is home to one of the world’s natural wonders: the Victoria Falls and surrounding national park, while downriver lies in Mana Pools National Park, located on the floodplains of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, offering superb wildlife viewing. Zimbabwe’s other world-class national parks include its biggest, Hwange, on the western border with Botswana, Gonarezhou in the Limpopo Valley, Matobo near Bulawayo and Matusadona at Lake Kariba.

RISE Zimbabwe!

Original Zimbabwe - 2014

Visit Zimbabwe to experience your African adventure. Watch this video to see the wonders this beautiful country has to offer.

ATTACKED By DEMONS in the Slums of Zimbabwe

While visiting different African tribes, we find ourselves just outside of the capital city of Harare in Zimbabwe. There's a story of demons who sometimes enter the market to dance and terrorize the locals. We decide to investigate and an epic adventure unfolds.

Come travel with me, and check out the next Adventure Retreat!

Real Mermaid caught in Sri Lanka | TRIP PISSO

இலங்கையில் பிடிபட்ட ரியல் மெர்மெய்ட் | असली जलपरी श्रीलंका में पकड़ी गई
✍ Scream of the Mermaid
Sponsored by : Mobile TV Youtube Channel ( Subscribe ???? @mobiletv2141 )

Once upon a time there was a beautiful island with charming and calm beaches, sparking waves flew one after another reminding us the elegance of the nature.

This beautiful island was the home for a once majestic nation. These people were living together in harmony with the nature which provided everything for them. They had beautiful gardens, they had large paddy fields and they had dozens of Cattle and they protected the nature as their own eyes.

Time passed and these people started to change. They became creative to innovate technology to ease their lives. but they lost the love to the nature. They started to cut down trees, spill waste to rivers, dump garbage to the sea, kill animals and they made everything a mess.

Nature could not bear this anymore. So, it started to hurt back. Rain was stopped. Trees and paddy fields could not produce food for people. rivers went dry. Once a calm and quiet sea became rough. nights became longer. darkness grew and deceases killed so many people. People did not get quality air to breath.

One day in a gloomy evening a strange thing happened in one of the beaches. The sea became rough, fishermen couldn’t control their boats. Sun got afraid and went down early. wild animals started shouting and a strange thing was washed up to the beach.

People gathered to the beach.
What was it? People were wondering. Few brave young men tried to reach it. And it was a human fish. It had a long tail like a fish. It had hands and a face like a human. It was a Mermaid.
This Mermaid was washed up to the beach half dead, strangled with garbage. Sick living in the toxic water and she was hardly breathing. young brave men helped to release her from strangled garbage. She slowly dragged herself back to the sea. before she swims away, she gave this message to the people of that island.
“Every second breath you take comes from the ocean. Ocean is mother who gives the life to the whole world”

People were sad, people were guilty. People realized that they should protect oceans and mother nature. They got the message very clearly. They wrote about this incident in their diaries. They kept this day memorized deep in their hearts.

And they stopped hurting the oceans and nature. They stopped dumping garbage everywhere. They stopped using toxic chemicals. They stopped killing too many animals. They cleaned the beaches. And then the nature responded back. It cleared skies, it gave rain to the people and rivers started flowing. flowers bloomed, fruits got ripen. Sea became calm.

This day ( 8th June ) was later named as “World Oceans Day”.

Guys I have to be honest with you in this one. After visiting all 197 countries and thousands of cities around the world, I can say with 100% certainty that Port au Prince, Haiti, takes the crown as THE MOST DANGEROUS. Yes, more than Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Syria and Iraq COMBINED.

I've never experienced before what I just experienced in Haiti... 80% of the city is controlled by violent street gangs, and when we crossed the sketchy checkpoint to enter the biggest slum called Cite Soleil, we had to get permission from the gang-leading chief to enter. I can't make this stuff up.

I'm just glad that I made it out alive and am here to tell this story. My heart aches for the people in Haiti, who are living through this disastrous situation. I hope the country will return to its thriving days like it was a few decades ago. There is so much potential with stunning beaches, smiling faces, and Caribbean vibes.

Thanks for watching - it took my team of 4 and myself more than 3 weeks to get this story edited. My hope is that this video sparks conversations that contribute to a broader understanding and ultimately, a positive change for the future of Haiti.

Tourism Returns to Hwange National Park Zimbabwe

A travel industry colleague of ours recently traveled to Zimbabwe with a group of Americans. Now more than ever, and especially as North America heads into a long winter, a Safari is such a gift. The ability to be outside, immersed in nature and to break away from the constant worry is something that everyone can benefit from. Yes, there are some challenges to traveling during the pandemic however it also comes with greater rewards than ever before. As Gretchen described her day at Victoria Falls, being only one of SIX people there, “To see one of the Seven Wonders of the World is exciting on a good day, to have it to oneself is exceptional.”

Thanks to our friends at Imvelo and to Jonathan Burnham for video editing and wildlife footage.

GIANT WATER TORNADO IN ZIMBABWE !!!
