Twisted Cyclone Front Seat Multi View On Ride POV

The wait is finally over; Twisted Cyclone was showcased to local and national media outlets. This multi-view (multi-angle) on-ride POV of our experience on this game-changing hybrid roller coaster was definitely one to remember. For this specific ride, we sat up front (row 2) and enjoyed some great views, inversions, and airtime. While some may say track length is a bit short, we felt the ride experience made up for it, packing quite the punch and offering a little something for enthusiasts of all ages and thrill levels.

Twisted Cyclone opens to the general public on Memorial Day weekend (2018) and is sure to be an instant hit among the park guests.

A short but sweet roller coaster. This RMC is one of the smallest out there but it still packs quite a punch. The vertical G forces are incredible.

ALL NEW Insane RMC Twisted Cyclone POV at Six Flags Over Georgia

Take a virtual ride with us on Six Flags over Georgia's newest rollercoaster; Twisted Cyclone. This was one of many new RMC rollercoasters added in 2018, and stands out to be one of the best. Strap in and get ready for air time, great pacing, and crazy inversions on Twisted Cyclone. This RMC may not be the biggest or the fastest but it packs a punch!! The wave turn is one of the craziest rollercoaster elements out there and I wouldn't be surprised if you see more manufactures using the, in the future. The ride has 3 inversions, once of which being a very unique reverse cobra roll. This ride was formerly known as the Georgia Cyclone which first opened on March 3, 1990. The ride has since been converted using RMC's popular I box technology, and uses most of the original rides support structure. The new attraction takes riders at speeds up to 50mph, has a first drop of 100', is 2,600 ft in length, has 3 inversions, and has a 75 degree first drop. Twisted Cyclone is a Game Changer

Twisted Cyclone is a GAME CHANGER! Six Flags Over Georgia previewed its Twisted Cyclone hybrid roller coaster to media outlets. As we got our first look at the southeast's first hybrid roller coaster, enthusiasts are sure to love the many great elements on this new attraction, and we're confident this new roller coaster is a game-changer for this Six Flags amusement park. Team Coaster Addict was on location to shoot this off-ride POV video of the all-new Twisted Cyclone roller coaster, providing unique angles of the thrilling attraction and the new theming in the new Coastal Section of the park. In addition, we take a first look at the new Cyclone Supplies merchandise store that sells great Twisted Cyclone t-shirts and souvenirs as well as Twisted Cyclone ride photos. This will be the park's third attraction that provides on-ride picture opportunities.

We captured the back of the train coaster experience along the way as well, and we definitely admit that Twisted Cyclone is one to ride in the back!

Twisted Cyclone First Riders and Reactions

On Memorial Day Weekend, Twisted Cyclone opened to the general public, and this new hybrid roller coaster is getting rave reviews! Coaster Addict Dwayne caught up with the first riders (Nolan, Will, Jack, Hudson, Chris, and Ben) from passholder day and also checked out the initial operations or procedures of the ride (i.e. early entry versus no early entry, Flash Pass system, and much more) during multiple visits over the Memorial Day weekend.
