Getting lost in Fès, Morocco! My first time in Morocco
This is my experience as a female solo traveler in Morocco. It was my first time in a country so different from Europe and Western countries in general. Although challenging and overwhelming at the beginning, I ended up appreciating Morocco and its people very much. I hope to be able to explore more of this beautiful country in the future!
This vlog is dedicated to Fès, a medieval city in the Northern part of Morocco. From getting lost in the old medina, to exploring some of main attractions of Fès, I hope you enjoy this walking tour!

This Atlantic coast country gives travelers the opportunity to experience life in an ancient Arabic culture, sunning on beaches or snow skiing in the mountains. Whether rambling through ancient medinas, sampling cuisine at a local souq or relaxing in the sun at a white-washed seaside town, the past is always present in this diverse and colorful country. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in Morocco:
Morocco Road Trip | Essaouira, Casablanca & Rabat
Our road trip through Morocco has begun as we eave Marrakesh and make our way towards some of the coastal towns of this beautiful country.
First up we had a few more spots to see in Marrakesh with our first ever visit in the incredible Bahia Palace - honestly designing our future house after the Moroccan architects.
Our first stop is the coastal town of Essaouira, where we got to see the medina and a quick stop into the blue boat fishing village.
In the morning we made our way to Casablanca to see one of the most jaw dropping Mosques in the world - the Hassan II Mosque.
Final stop is the capital city of Rabat and it's unlike any town we have ever seen in Morocco so far.

Staying with this Amazigh family was a highlight of my time in Morocco. The Berbers - locally they prefer being referred to as the Amazigh people - are a North African community with their own culture and language: Tamazight. The family I stayed with isn't necessarily representative of the Amazigh community at large, but they are part of a sizeable community of people who live in the Atlas Mountains, far from the busy and vibrant cities of Morocco.

Bonjour mon amour! We're in Paris guys, can you believe it? The city of love and romance, the city of light! It was awesome to finally check Paris off my list and see all the famous landmarks in person. I'm definitely going to come back another time when it's nice and warm!
