Paphos, Cyprus 2017 ???????? - Top sights and attractions
In this part of my Cyprus road trip series, I’m in Paphos (Pafos) on the south-west coast of Cyprus. Paphos is this year’s European Capital of Culture and there are lots of things to do and see. Paphos is known for the ancient mosaics in Kato Paphos, the Paphos Castle and the beautiful boardwalk with dozens of cafés and restaurants. The upper part of town, around 3 km away from the Kato Paphos area, was undergoing renovation works during my visit and there was not a lot going on. I’m sure there will be many events and new shops once the renovation works are finished.

Video from a 2019 trip to Cyprus - walking in the old town of Nicosia and a visit to the Leventis Municipal Museum. In this this video, you can see some of the tourist attractions in the capital of Cyprus - Eleftheria Square (Liberty Square), Nicosia Town Hall in D'Avila Bastion, Ledra Street, Faneromeni Square, the Paphos Gate and the Venetian Wall.
There are many churches in Nicosia and Faneromeni is the biggest one in the old town. Nicosia is also home to a significant Maronite community from Lebanon. The Maronite community even has its own church.
The Leventis Municipal Museum in the center of Nicosia is definitely worth a visit. The museum presents the history and development of the city from ancient times to the present day. The museum collection includes a variety of archaeological artefacts, pottery, costumes, furniture, maps and books.

Larnaca, Cyprus 2017 ????????: Beach, Sights and Flamingos (VLOG 1/6)
In this first episode of my road trip series, I am in Larnaca, a port city and beach resort town. Larnaca might not be the most impressive place you've ever been to, but it is not as bad as some bloggers think. There is a medieval castle, a mosque, some old churches and of course the beach. The biggest attraction of Larnaca, however, are the thousands of cute flamingos in Larnaca Salt Lake! They come to Cyprus only in winter - from November to March, so it was the right time to visit to see the flamingos!
