A journey from Moscow to Ulaanbaatar and the Gobi Desert along more than 8.000 kms on trains, vans and planes in 4 weeks of travel. We enjoyed amazing scenery and incredible travel mates every single day. The journey was an unforgettable experience that left an everlasting footprint in my memory. Okay, now onto the description of the video... Riding on the Trans-Siberian Train has been a bucket list adventure for me for as long as I can remember (8 years?). The train starts in Moscow and then travels 10,000 kilometers Eastbound across Siberia until it ends in Vladivostok. I was lucky enough to catch Trans-Siberian train for a 30-hour leg – from Irkutsk to Novosibirsk – and it was one of the wildest travel experiences of my life. Even in the middle of winter, where temperatures were around -30C, I couldn’t believe how scenic the views were out the window. It felt like a dream!
On the Trans-Siberian train, I met two incredible characters – Gregory (the train conductor) and Sacha (the drunk passenger) who I shared the entire experience with. I will never forget this train ride. It was the journey of a lifetime, and I can’t wait to (hopefully) finish the rest of the adventure someday soon. Siberia is truly a remarkable place. We've fallen in love with train travel and the Transsiberian railway has really stolen our heart. After travelling more than 5000 km by train through Russia, we're finally going to Mongolia. We're super excited to reach Ulaanbataar (Ulan Bator in English). Our train journey has taken us from Tallin in Estonia, to Saint-Peterburg and Moscow to the middle of Russia, Yekaterinburg. Afterwards we travelled 56 hours on a train to reach the heart of Siberia in Irkutsk where we visited one of the highlights of Russia, Lake Baikal.

On day 6 of our Trans-siberian Railway journey from Irkutsk to Vladivostok, we made it to Ulan-Ude! This is a continuation of the last vlog where we rode third class to this town. Now we walked to our hotel, and explored Ulan-Ude the rest of the night! Highlights include Mongolian dumplings, the largest statue of Lenin's head in the world, and dinner on the walking street!

Well not me to be honest but somehow I decided to override my dread of endless train rides to show you what nobody has shown you before. The real Trans-Siberian.
