Bermuda
Historically known as the Bermudas or Somers Isles) is a British Overseas Territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. The closest land outside the territory is in the American state of North Carolina, approximately 1,035 km (643 mi) to the west-northwest. Bermuda is an archipelago consisting of 181 islands, although the most significant islands are connected by bridges and appear to form one landmass. It has a land area of 54 square kilometres (21 sq mi).
Port Royal Golf Course
The course was the creation of golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones. The course was finally completed and opened in 1970. More recently, it underwent renovation in preparation for the hosting of the 2009 PGA Grand Slam of Golf. It is now home to the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), also known in short as Norwegian, is an American cruise line founded in 1966, incorporated in Bermuda and headquartered in Miami. It is the third-largest cruise line in the world by passengers, controlling about 8.7% of the total worldwide share of the cruise market by passengers as of 2018. It is wholly owned by parent company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.

Norwegian Pearl is the third of NCL's four Jewel-class ships. She was preceded by Norwegian Jewel in 2005, and Pride of Hawaii (now Norwegian Jade) in 2006. She was followed by Norwegian Gem in 2007. Each ship has different amenities, but has a similar exterior and interior design.
Norwegian Pearl has a similar exterior appearance to NCL's Dawn-class ships; Norwegian Star, which entered service in 2001, and Norwegian Dawn, which entered service in 2002. The interior design and amenities, however, are significantly different and merit Norwegian Pearl a Jewel-class designation.

NCL BREAKAWAY: Cruise Ship Tour and highlights (from the bridge and water park)
A TOUR OF THE NCL BREAKAWAY! This is a beautiful Norwegian Cruise Line cruise ship that is a part of the Breakaway class ship. The pictures are from its inaugural season and on a trip to Bermuda in the summer. It highlights the ships water park, theater and cabins. The ship came after the NCL Epic and was the first to offer the Waterfront, Rock of Ages (a broadway musical along with Burn the Floor) and various other new aspects for Norwegian ships. It holds over 4,000 passengers and is over 140,000 gross tons. This video also highlights some of the technological marvels of this ship from the bridge (taken during a ship tour onboard).

Went on my very first cruise to Bermuda ???????? this past week and loved it! Took Norwegian Gem Cruise Lines ???? on a 7 day cruise. Many activities and LOTS of eating. The ship had theme nights which made it fun. I purchased the thermal spa package for the week and I went just about twice a day. Soooo worth it!
We spent 1.5 days at sea from Boston. The second day was sort of rough and rocky and I was sick in my room for like 5 hours popping motion sickness meds and sleeping which helped the most. Watches some food movies tho.
Bermuda was absolutely breathtaking. Met some really nice locals.
The way back was smooth sailing and purchased lots of goodies. Craziest thing was to see those sea creatures. They were shaped like seals but would seals be out there? Anyone from Bermuda have any ideas? Please share ????

Bermuda day 3 of the cruise
Day three of our cruise starts with breakfast on the Norwegian Dawn before arriving in Bermuda. Then a trip to Horseshoe Bay Beach followed by returning to the ship for dinner. Being only one week after Hurricane Gonzalo 2014, there is some footage of the damage the storm caused. Also footage of beaches east of Horseshoe and so many fish including parrot fish some. Sorry the water was cloudy but the storm stirred things up a bit.
