Chrissi Ammoudia (Golden Beach) Thassos Greece: This superb beach is located 12 km south west of Limenas and south of Makriamos Beach. It stretches along the coast between the resorts of Skala Panagias and Skala Potamias. Chrissi Ammoudia (Golden Sand) is among the most beautiful and popular beaches of Thassos. It is long, with golden sand and crystalline waters, and it is surrounded by dense vegetation reaching down to the sea. It is a well organized beach and its shallow waters are ideal for children. Mount Ypsarion rises over the bay, adding another beautiful touch to the whole scenery.

Karnagio este o plaja retrasă, linistita, cu nisip fin, amenajata cu sezlonguri, umbrelute și beach-bar, la care se ajunge foarte ușor dinspre faleza orasului Limenas. Este practic amplasata in extremitatea dreapta a orasului Limenas. Plaja este micuta, cu acces destul de dificil in apa (de pe un ponton) datorita pietrelor.
