Jebel Jais peak is already renowned for being the epicentre of adventure in the United Arab Emirates and the outlying Middle East. Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RAKCCI) and RAK Leisure, the adventure and lifestyle subsidiary of RAK Hospitality Holding (RAKHH) have proudly increased its appeal by adding the thrilling Jais Sledder, operated by the Warrior Group.
The advent of the sled is not entirely known. Sweden and Norway recorded various early kicksled races during the 15th century. The modern sport of sledding originated in St Mortiz, Switzerland, in the mid-to-late 19th century, where wealthy vacationers adapted delivery sleds for recreational races. Typically sleds were developed in areas with much winter snow and used as transportation for people and materials. Early designs included hand-pulled, dog, ox and horse-drawn versions. Ancient Egyptians are thought to have used sleds on the desert sands for transporting construction materials. The adrenaline-provoking sport was added to the winter Olympic Games by Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing (FIBT) in 2002.
The Jais Sledder sits comfortably on a low-slung track. You’ll reach up to 40 kilometres per hour as you hurtle down the Hajar mountain range swerving through glorious panoramas with views of the spectacular coastline. The speed seems amplified ten-fold because you are sitting so close to the ground. The fully-controllable ride takes about eight minutes to cover 1,840 exhilarating metres of hairpin curves and undulating waves.
The Jais Sledder is built to the highest safety and technical standards and adheres to the ISO 19202 criteria, and the latest design technology specific to planning track, design and calculation, manufacturing, build, and testing requirements for summer sledding activities. The sleds are designed to seat two people comfortably, one in front and the other in the back. You are safely secured into the sled, and each sledder has access to the braking system.
You can purchase Jais Sledder tickets in bundles of one or three from the ticket counter at the Jais Welcome Centre; don’t worry, you can always go back for more! You can choose to share the experience with a friend or a member of your family or go superhero-solo.Head to the mountains and enjoy the various thrilling and award-winning experiences, including the Jais Flight, the world’s longest zipline, Jais Sky Tour, Via Ferrata, and an overnight stay at Bear Grylls Explorers Camp. The highest restaurant in the UAE 1484 by Puro serves delicious fayre throughout the day.

The Mastery of Travel -- Jace Tibi
Summary- My passion is to travel. My name is Jace Tibi, Im twenty years old and I'm majoring in sustainability at Arizona State University. My will to surrender to my passion is enormous. Having been to over 30 countries and even more states, it shows how dedicated I am to master the skill of traveling. Practice can be preceived in many different ways. For example, my practice for traveling started at a young age while visiting France and Italy. I couldn't fully enrich myself is what I was learning, but at the same time learned the basics. Its all about repitition. When I was young I also enjoyed learning and learning about different languages. My guide and idol of my adventerous passion is my father. I've learned everything I know about traveling safely and successfully from him. He has been all over the would and is quad langual. Knowing english, spanish, french, and german, he encourages and enables the persuit of my passion. I visulalize the outcome by attaining all the information I can about the other countries and the way they live. Being a sustainability major helps me focus with a much more broad prospective. I play the edge to its fullest. Having been to most of the countries with my father, and Austrailia with a sustainability based study abroad trip, I take advantage of both sides of the table.

TRAVEL VLOG from Vienna to Prague by train! Student Agency / RegioJet - this is a Standard Class review from the Children's Car and the features it offers.
The children's cabin on RegioJet is really a great deal. It gives you similar amount of space to business class (maybe even a little more) at the price of a standard ticket.
Not every train has a children's cabin (and I've yet to see a train that has more than one car with a children's cabin or Detske kupe - but maybe it's different in the summer.
