Our itinerary - Tortola BVI, St. John's Antigua, Bridgetown Barbados, Castries St. Lucia, Philipsburg St. Maarten, Charlotte Amalie St. Thomas & then back to San Juan! Phew!!
What a journey!!
In this double episode, we are super excited as we wake up to the most amazing views from our balcony as we near Bridgetown, Barbados. We have no plans to head out, but instead enjoy the wonderful infinity pools, sip frozen drinks under the Caribbean sun & hit up Indulge food hall for a spot of Curry! The Evening is spent firstly back at Onda by Scarpetta for my birthday meal & then onto the theatre for some giggles watching Press you luck! Retro 90s disco ends this Chilled day in the Club.
The next day we dock in the incredibly beautiful Island of St. Lucia. Today we do have plans...we are all set to go to Bay Garden's Resort for the day. An all inclusive excursion to a beautiful resort some 30mins from the port. Unfortunately the weather is not behaving, We disembark into heavy rains and stormy skies!! But thankfully on the other side of the island the sun is shining & the storms have passed!

Dinner was at the wonderful Food Republic & the evening entertainment was put on by the Syd Norman's band in the Viva club! A wonderful opportunity to see them perform as a band outside of the small Syd Norman's venue. It's PROM night & we have a blast!!

How Safe Is Barbados for Travel?

Barbados is an independent island country of the Lesser Antilles located in the Caribbean region of North America.
Their culture is considered to be a mixture of African and British influences, but what is surprising to find out is that even though their official language is English they have their specific dialect – Bajan, which is a combination of languages born as a result of different inhabitants of the island.
Even though some words will be hard for you to understand, the citizens are very welcoming and there are a lot of festivals and parties where you can easily interact with them.
Overall generally, Barbados is considered to be a safe place for tourists, but still, as in all other locations, there are chances for unpleasant events. In order for them to not happen, it is very important to take all the precaution measures to ensure personal safety and diminish the chances of negative outcomes.
