Today we walk in the Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The city is known for having the headquarters of car manufacturers Mercedes-Benz and Porsche.
We start our walk at the train station, which is party under construction for several years (Stuttgart 21). On this public holiday the shops in the inner city are closed so we head to the Schlossplatz (Palace Square) with the new palace and gardens. There the people enjoy their afternoon with a picknick and some music.
We further check out the inner city, the old palace and head back to the train station walking around Stuttgart's centre.

It is known as a centre of mechanical and automobile engineering with the headquarters of the world-famous Bosch, Mercedes and Porsche within its metropolitan area.
Our guided walking tour is about 2.49 miles (4 km) long, starts at Stuttgart Central Train Station and covers most attractions and historic sites of Stuttgart.

This time we are in Stuttgart on a fall evening (October 2020). We start our tour in the western district Neue Vorstadt near the Hospitalkirche.
We see some other parts of the city there on this rainy evening as we head to the inner city, the Schlossplatz and train station (Hauptbahnhof) at last.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum is an automobile museum in Stuttgart, Germany. It covers the history of the Mercedes-Benz brand and the brands associated with it. Stuttgart is home to the Mercedes-Benz brand and the international headquarters of Daimler AG.
The current building is based on a unique cloverleaf concept using three overlapping circles with the center removed to form a triangular atrium recalling the shape of a Wankel engine. The building was completed and opened on 19 May 2006. Architecture and exhibition concept are closely interwoven. The building's height and double helix interior were designed to maximise space, providing 16,500 square metres (178,000 sq ft) of exhibition space on a footprint of just 4,800 square metres (52,000 sq ft). The double helix also corresponds to the exhibition concept, which divides the museum into the legend rooms and the collections, offering two alternative tours that can be merged at any given point of the museum.
The museum contains more than 160 vehicles, some dating back to the very earliest days of the motorcar engine. The vehicles are maintained by the Mercedes-Benz Classic Centre of Fellbach. Previously, the museum was housed in a dedicated building within the factory complex and visitors had in recent decades been transported from the main gate by a secured shuttle.

Flybe flight on the Dash 8 turboprop plane from Stuttgart to Birmingham. On this Flybe trip report, you will see all the flight from Stuttgart airport until outside Birmingham airport.
We made this flight already in the busy aviation summer season. Unfortunately, some issue made us have a big delay in our flight. A chain of events that you will be able to see in the video.
Besides that, this was my first time flying on the Bombardier Dash 8 turboprop airplane, and I must say it is a nice plane and really comfortable for the passengers, with huge legroom.
