First off, go check out amazing friends in this video:

♦ Matt from Ras Kitchen: @RasKitchen - Watch their amazing videos
♦ Jaheel - Jamaican hurdle runner, and he’s starting to make food videos:

KINGSTON, JAMAICA - I’ve wanted to visit Jamaica for a long time, from the famous jerk and curries, to the unique mix of culture, and reggae music - I was thrilled to finally have a chance to go. And 10 days in Jamaica didn’t let me know - the food, amazing people, and adventure we had on this island were unforgettable. Stay tuned for a full Jamaican food and travel video series throughout this gorgeous Caribbean island.

We begin this trip with a Jamaican street food tour in Kingston, the largest city in Jamaica, and a great place to explore and get a feel of city life, and a mix of cultures represented in Jamaica.

Coronation Market - As one of the biggest outdoor food markets in Jamaica and the Caribbean, you can be assured, Coronation Market is a bustling, colorful, paradise of fruits and vegetables. You’ll find everything you need here to make Jamaican food - from Scotch bonnet chilies to ackee. It’s fantastic. On the way out of the market, we found a man selling soup - Jamaican bean soup with cow skin, and pumpkin soup with chicken feet. It was spectacular. Soup - 120 JMD ($0.88) per bowl

National Heroes Circle - Alice Stall - Next up on this Jamaican street food tour, we headed to National Heroes Circle, known for its street food stalls that sell spicy crabs, soups, and corn. The crab was delicious, simmered with thyme and scotch bonnet chilies. The corn was served with chunks of mature coconut, an amazing combination. And finally Alice, makes some amazing pumpkin soup, full of chicken feet and organs - don’t miss it in Kingston. Crab and everything - 2,600 JMD for everyone - there were about 8 of us.

Ibo Spice Portal - This was an unplanned spot on this food tour - we found it and decided to go check it out. Turned out to be an amazing experience. So Ital food, comes from the world Vital, which is typically a Rastafari way to eat - typically vegetarian, focusing on natural and local ingredients. Ibo Spice Portal is a small Rasta community yard where they always have food cooking and juices brewing. It’s friendly, relaxed, artistic, and the food is delicious. We all enjoyed the mix of vegetarian food, served in a calabash. Also, the guava soursop juice was one of the best I’ve ever had. Ital vegan food - 700 JMD ($5.12) per bowl

Jerk Pan Chicken - Red Hills Road - Finally to finish this Jamaican street food tour of Kingston, we had to eat jerk pan chicken, a staple street food of Jamaica, and something so tasty, you can’t resist. Red Hills Road is the famous pan chicken spot in Kingston and vendors line the road with the barrel grills. The chicken is grilled, slathered in sauce, and topped with bread. Pan chicken - 500 JMD ($3.66) per pack

Thank you for watching this Jamaican street food tour of Kingston. Lots more Jamaican food coming! #Jamaica #JamaicanFood #streetood #Kingston

Huge Caribbean KING CRAB ???? RUNDOWN!! Jamaican Seafood Tour - Jamaica! ????????

????Thanks to Matt Robinson:
????Watch - Kingston Street Food Tour:
????100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here:

Jamaican Seafood - Today was dedicated to Jamaican seafood - and what a another memorable day in Jamaica it was. We scored big with some amazing fresh Caribbean King Crab, which I didn’t even know as a thing - and we had an amazing day of fresh Jamaican food!

Smokeez by the sea ( - Our first stop for the day was in Montego Bay, Jamaica, at a laid back chill out spot called Smokeez by the sea. While we were there, a fisherman came in with his fresh catch including barracuda. So along with the pepper janga (crayfish) and some jerk octopus, we also got a taste of ultra fresh escovitch barracuda. Amazing place, great hospitality.

Far Out Fish Hut - North Coast, Jamaica - Next up we started driving down the North Coast of Jamaica, and made a quick stop at Far Out Fish Hut to eat a simple dish of fish tea. It was mainly fish bones and a few spices boiled until comforting and delicious. It’s the way to get started on a Jamaican seafood feast.

Rock Wharf Luminous Lagoon ( - But our main goal for the way was to get the seafood, fish, lobsters which Matt brought, and the Caribbean king crab we bought, with us to the beautiful Rock Wharf in Falmouth, Jamaica.

They cooked an amazing array of Jamaican food for us, including Escovitch fish, Jamaican Steamed Fish, Bammy, mahi mahi in an amazing marinade, and finally King crab rundown! What a dish and what an outstanding place.

For our final activity of the day, we took a boat in the luminous lagoon once it was dark - but unfortunately due to weather conditions, we weren’t able to see the luminosity of the lagoon. Typically the luminous lagoon illuminates with bright colors. Unfortunately we were unlucky tonight. Next time!!

It was another incredible day of delicious Jamaican food in Jamaica. Watch the entire Jamaican food series here:

Fried Lobster Jacuzzi ???? JAMAICAN FOOD ???????? Beach Party at Hellshire Beach, Jamaica!

????Watch - Kingston Street Food Tour:
????100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here:
????Thanks to Matt Robinson:

Another beautiful day in Jamaica - and this was a day of fun, beauty and unforgettable lobsters and seafood in Jamaica. We began the day in Port Antonio, Jamaica. We then drove all the way through the gorgeous Blue Mountains, in search of coffee, and on our way to Kingston. We met up with Matt and Matt and had an amazing Jamaican seafood feast at Hellshire Beach. #Jamaica #JamaicanFood #streetfood

Blue Mountains - One of the things we really wanted to do in Jamaica is at least see and experience the world famous Blue Mountains. So we drove on the less traveled road through an amazing Blue Mountain pass. The beauty was spectacular, and though we tried to stop at a few places, but most things were closed. So anyway, we made it across to the other side and had coffee at Café Blue in Irish Town. Blue Mountain Coffee - 500 JMD ($3.62).

After arriving to Kingston, we dropped off our car and met back up with Matt Robinson: who then drove to Hellshire Beach - not forgetting some ackee and saltfish and Amanda’s Mother made - it was perfect!

Screechies Seafood and Bar - Hellshire Beach is a popular Beach destination in Jamaica, near to Kingston. It’s known for beach parties, water sports, and lots of fried seafood. It’s just an amazing happy Jamaican food place, and if you love seafood, it’s a place you’ve got to visit. We headed to Screechies Seafood and Bar, a restaurant off the main strip of restaurants wich a small private beach and known for their seafood. They made a huge fried lobster jacuzzi, and both escovitch fish and Jamaican steamed fish. The seafood meal and party was incredible - surrounded by great food and great people! Total price - 29,500 JMD ($213.85) for everything, 8 people I think.

Insane Jamaican Jerk BBQ!! HUGE MEAT PIT + Jerk Champion in Montego Bay, Jamaica! ????????

????Thanks to Matt Robinson:
????Watch - Kingston Street Food Tour:
????100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here:

If there’s one food you think about when you think of Jamaica, it’s probably Jamaican jerk - and that’s for a pretty good reason - it’s one of the greatest dishes of Jamaica and something they should be proud of. When you’re in Jamaica, you must taste the real deal - and we had a chance to visit one of the best places to eat Jerk pork, and on the same day, Andrew - a Jamaican jerk competition champion, cooked us an entire jerk pig! #JamaicanFood #Jerk #Caribbean

Huge thank you to Pineapple Beach ( for hosting us, to Andrew for cooking an amazing jerk pig, and Matt ( for arranging everything!

Tastee Patty - Jamaican Patties - But before getting started with Jamaican jerk, we first had some Jamaican patties, my first taste. They were incredibly tasty, better than I had imagined. I can see how they are so addictive and popular.

Fresh market in Montego Bay - Next we headed to the fresh market in Montego Bay to buy some of the main ingredients to make an entire jerk pig. One of the spices you can’t make jerk without is allspice, known in Jamaica as pimento.

Pineapple Beach - Montego Bay, Jamaica - Here’s where Andrew cooked up his amazing jerk pig. Started with lots of allspice, do a dry rub, and then moving on to the wet marinade that included scotch bonnet, thyme, pimento and a host of other ingredients and spices. The jerk pig turned out outstanding, so much flavor, and full of spice. It was a real treat. Thank you Andrew!

The Pork Pit - Montego Bay, Jamaica - One of the best places to eat Jamaican jerk bbq in all of Jamaica is The Pork Pit, located in Montego Bay. The spices and they way they smoke the meat is just next level. While the whole jerk pig was cooking, we slipped over to the Port Pit for a massive Jamaican food jerk bbq feast of jerk pork and jerk chicken with their stunning scotch bonnet sauce.

It was another incredible day of delicious Jamaican food in Jamaica. Watch the entire Jamaican food series here:
