CAMERON HIGHLANDS 4K - Travel Guide Malaysia: Mountains, TEA & Strawberries
The Cameron Highlands in Malaysia are a must-visit for its beautiful landscapes and views. There are many tea plantations between the mountains, but you will also find strawberry farms and lots of other fruits. Due to its climate, the Cameron Highlands have mossy jungles and misty peaks all in one place. Near the village of Brinchang we stay at Strawberry Park, the most beautiful hotel in the area with fantastic views over the valley. After an earlier city trip in Kuala Lumpur, a visit to the jungle in Taman Negara and this experience in the Cameron Highlands, we travel on to the 'Pearl of the Orient' Penang. We then conclude the adventurous route on the beautiful island of Langkawi!
We make our trip through Malaysia during a year-long world tour. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. Malaysia is already our nineteenth destination. Follow us on this world tour, first in Cameron Highlands, then the rest of Malaysia and then to many more beautiful destinations! There are many debates on the social media platform if it's worth visiting given its steep prices of RM50/'pax compared to other similar attractions in Cameron Highlands, Surely, there are some smaller-scale floral farms that do not charge any entrance fee.

Cameron Highlands is one of Malaysia's popular Highland retreat, which is about 3-4 hours drive away from the Kuala Lumpur city. If looking for a scenic retreat from the bustling city, and maybe an escape from Malaysia's usual hot and humid weather, then Cameron Highlands would be a great place to visit.
The temperature here is a little much cooler as it is on a hill (around 15 Celcius). So do prepare some sweater if you're sensitive to cold weather.

Some historic info on Cameron Highlands. Cameron Highlands was named after William Cameron, a British Government surveyor who discovered it in 1885 on a mapping expedition but failed to mark his discovery. It was not until 1925 that Sir George Maxwell recorded Cameron's discovery and developed it as a hill station attracting British colonials and expatriates, including British planters who realized the potential of its fertile mountain slopes for growing tea.
On a high ground of 1,500 metres above sea level in a forested and mountain landscape, Cameron Highlands is the most visited attraction in Malaysia mostly by local and international tourist. In this video I'm sharing Cameron Highlands beautiful landscape with nice people.

Cameron Highlands Flora Park - The Most Beautiful Flower Garden in Malaysia
In this travel vlog, I will be embarking on a journey to Cameron Highlands Flora Park (CH Flora Park), which is a botanical delight and one of the best things to do in Cameron Highlands (马来西亚金马伦高原). As we arrived at the entrance, the RM50 per person entrance fee was a small price to pay for the wonders that awaited. Nestled in Brinchang, Cameron Highland, the park proved conveniently close to other attractions like the bustling Kea Farm Market, the serene Sheep Sanctuary, the aromatic BOH Tea Centre, and the Cameron Centrum Shopping Mall.
We opted for the complimentary shuttle service from Kea Farm Market's car park, which whisked us away to the Cameron Highlands Flora Park's entrance. Stepping inside, we were greeted by the sight of five enchanting gardens. The Petunia Garden dazzled with vibrant hues, while the Cameron Sakura Garden transported us to a Japanese oasis. The Four Season Flower Garden boasted a mesmerizing array of sunflowers, each basking in the gentle sunlight.
Venturing further, we found ourselves in the Glass Sanctuary, enveloped by a captivating collection of cacti in various shapes and sizes. It was a surreal experience to observe these hardy plants thriving in their arid habitat. Moreover, there was a stairway to infinity, which became an irresistible spot for countless photos.
As we leisurely strolled through Flora Hill, the scenery was breathtaking, offering Instagram-worthy photo opportunities at every turn. Inside Cameron Highlands Flora Park, the Children's Playground provided a delightful atmosphere, with the laughter of kids echoing through the mini-theme park, enhancing the lively ambiance of the entire park.
After a day of exploration, we indulged in a well deserved high tea at Hobbiton Village. The quaint setting, reminiscent of a hobbit's haven, provided the perfect backdrop for our culinary treat. With reservations made for the high tea set, we savored delectable bites amidst the charming ambiance, capping off our Cameron Highlands adventure in style. (Only high tea set reservations can enter Hobbiton Village)

Hi lovelies, good to see you all in a new video. In this video will watch Cameron Highlands. We just recently shot this video. We share the beautiful view of Cameron highland with details that provided in the websites.
The Cameron Highlands is a district in Pahang, Malaysia, occupying an area of 712.18 square kilometres. To the north, its boundary touches that of Kelantan; to the west, it shares part of its border with Perak.
Situated at the northwestern tip of Pahang, Cameron Highlands is approximately 90 kilometres (56 mi) east from Ipoh, roughly 200 kilometres (120 mi) north from Kuala Lumpur or about 355 kilometres (221 mi) from Kuantan, the capital of Pahang. It is the smallest municipality in the state.
The Cameron Highlands were named after William Cameron, a British explorer and geologist who was commissioned by the then colonial government to map out the Pahang-Perak border area in 1885.
In a statement concerning his mapping expedition, Cameron mentioned he saw a sort of vortex on the mountains, while for a (reasonably) wide area we have gentle slopes and Plateau land. When approached, Sir Hugh Low, the Resident of Perak (1887–1889), expressed the wish of developing the region into a sanatorium, health resort and open farmland. A narrow path to Cameron Highlands was then carved through the jungle. Nothing much happened after that.
Forty years later, the tableland was given another review when Sir George Maxwell (1871–1959) visited the locale to see if it could be turned into a resort. He spent about nine days surveying the territory. Maxwell described the terrain as being somewhat oval in shape on his return from the highlands. After comparing it with Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka and Baguio in the Philippines,he decreed that the site should be developed into a hill station.
In mid-1925, an Agricultural Experiment Station was set up to confirm if cinchona, tea, coffee, fruits and vegetables could be grown in the district. In December 1925, a superintendent was appointed to supervise the 200-acre (81-ha) plantation on Mount Beremban. While research at the station was being carried out, the colonial office assigned Captain C.C. Best, a surveyor from the Federated Malay States to trace the Telom River (Malay: Sungei Telom). The Annual Report of the Survey Department (1925) states he explored the Ulu of the Telom which was the actual area traversed by Cameron and he went first to what is known as Cameron Highlands to obtain a basis of comparison and from there crossed over into the Telom Valley. He made a reconnaissance map of the headwaters of the Telom and his exploration has established definitely that the area at the Ulu of the Bertang (Bertam?) is incomparably the most suitable for development.This report, coupled with the confirmation that tea could also be grown, gave the British the motivation to develop the place.

BTW, their is a vending machine selling Instant noodle & drink located in the pantry????
3️⃣????Flies can be easily spotted & roaming around the farming area AND ❗there is NO flies after 6pm ????
(it causes of the fertiliser that they used instead of dirt)
4️⃣Pork and beef strictly prohibited in our farming area.
5️⃣ There is only one parking for each dome

LITTLE ADVENTURE - CAMERON HIGHLANDS STREET VIEW - KEA FARM VILLAGE - (WALKING VIEW) KEA FARM KFARM
Kea Farm is an agricultural district in Cameron Highlands, located 3km north of Brinchang town or 3km before Tringkap. Its central feature is a farmers' market along the main road at its summit, adjacent to Copthorne Hotel. Open daily, traders set up retail stalls from morning till evening - a great place to seize bargains on fresh crops including strawberries, corn, greens and fruits.
Other local products available at the market include fashion apparel, souvenirs, ornamental plants, packaged food and flowers. Beyond the market, the surroundings give way to farms and residential homes draped across the valley. Some tourist attractions within the vicinity include Rose Center, Ee Feng Gu, Butterfly Garden and Boh Tea (Sungai Palas).

Free to enter, these farms often combine their primary attraction with souvenir shops, vegetable markets and interactive activities for children. As local bee populations are not enough to sustain local supply, honey sold here is also sourced from wild and domestic sources all over Malaysia.
Learning experience for kids. There were honey bee boxes with bees buzzing around. Big models of bees were there in the garden. You need to walk down the stairway to reach the garden which could be bit difficult for the elderly.
