We can always count on the ocean for a good challenge. Crossing the Caribbean when and how we did assured us we’d be battered by rain, knocked around by waves and sprayed with saltwater for three weeks straight. As always, mother ocean didn’t disappoint.

3 Guys and a Dog Sail to Belize (Sea Change - Chapter 1)
December 31st, 2015, we set sail from a Fort Lauderdale Florida. Three filmmakers and a cat-sized dog on a 44-foot sloop taking our first definitive step toward circumnavigating the world. We're excited to share Chapter One, where we prepare our boat, Cool Change, for departure and begin our journey south. It took us 11 days to sail to our first destination, Belize, where we discover the beauty of the Western Caribbean. Watch as we navigate shallow waters, observe the Red Footed Boobies in nesting season, meet a local fisherman and scuba dive the Great Blue Hole!

Hello again. Welcome to Guatemala! Our enchantment with the land of the Maya held us here longer than we had first expected. It brought us to remote areas and introduced us to new friends, but not without any difficulty. On December 31st, 2015 three men and a little dog left their old lives behind to set out on a round-the-world trip on 44 foot sailboat Cool Change.
We are out here to test ourselves, to grow and to learn – to dig through this world in search of life's lessons. This is not a vacation, though we are having the time of our lives. Traveling under sail has provided the opportunity to connect deeply with the people and places we encounter. We’re taking our time, becoming a part of the landscape instead of just observing it. This trip has combined our passions for adventure and filmmaking, to live a life that we're inspired to capture and share.
We’re attempting to sail around the world: helm in one hand, camera in the other.

Having our limits tested by the Caribbean and rising to the challenge was exhilarating but exhausting. We were ready for soft, cool earth under our feet. We were ready for landfall, and Dominica was our promised land. The comforting beauty of the landscape and the open hearts of the locals on the nature island were a treat we’ll never forget.

Suriname: A Simple Freedom (Sea Change - Chapter 5)
Suriname isn't flashy, and for outsiders it can be intimidating. Sailors coming inland are met with rusty metal scrap in the waters and sparse surroundings that don't give much indication of this little nation's true nature. It took a little time and searching, but we were introduced to what Suriname is hiding just behind the trees.

Atlantic crossing was a part of over 2 years long cruising voyage by Olek Hanusz called Dinghy Atlantic, which lasted since april 2015 till july 2017. Featured footage presents leg from Cape Verde to Martinique on Caribbean and that was the first Polish voyage across the pond on an open deck centreboard boat, which additionally was build by sailor himself.

We sail from Gibralter to Calpe, Mediterranean Spain, experiencing both of the above along with discovering some beautiful anchorages along the way. (sorry about the shaky camera work and wind noise...it was very windy and our camera is a bit crap!)

Sailing across the Atlantic Pt. 1 - Ep. 34 RAN Sailing
We set sail on November 23 and left Mindelo, Cape Verde to cross the Atlantic to Grenada, Caribbean. The forecast wasn't optimal and the very light winds were concerning. The first week gave us some sun and company by dolphins but very light winds. And then the squalls showed up on the horizon and started to hit us with lots of rain and thunder.
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built aluminium Beason 40, and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started to sail south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds takes us.

Getting Boarded At Sea - Ep. 82 RAN Sailing
With just 15 Nm to go to our destination in Panama we see a naval ship on the horizon changing course and heading straight towards us.
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life.
