Tigné Point , Sliema, MALTA , Adventure to the fort !!!
Tigné Point is a peninsula in Sliema, Malta. The area was originally occupied by several fortifications and a British barracks complex, which were left derelict for many years, until the area was redeveloped in the early 21st century. The area now contains many modern buildings and is popular among both locals and tourists.

The Sliema Chalet at Ghar id-Dud was a first-class open-air Chalet, inaugurated in May 1926, became the most popular rendezvous on the island particularly in the hot summer months. On the right-hand side there even was a Waterpolo pitch.

Located on the seafront road near Balluta Bay, the friendly and modern Plaza Hotel is situated within the vicinity of the shops and restaurants in Sliema and neighbouring St. Julians, both easily reached on foot or by a frequent bus service. There is a rocky bathing beach (awarded Blue Flag) and public gardens with fountains, opposite the hotel. Facilities, including a swimming pool, are shared with the adjacent Plaza Regency Hotel - under the same ownership - the rooftops of both hotels are connected. Rooms will be allocated on arrival at either hotel.

Hotel: The rooms have en suite facilities (bath or shower), hairdryer, satellite TV, heating (November - April), air-conditioning (May - October), safe (charge) and Wi-Fi (charge).
