Trish saw a YouTube video about Devil’s Den Spring in Florida and we said… we must go there! It was in the direction of Destin Beach so we entered it into Google Maps and didn’t look back. Little did we know that there was RV park on the property so we decided to stay the night and enjoy the natural spring the entire next day. This is a must do in Florida if you’re ever near Gainsville or Ocala.

Walking tour around Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, Florida.
Siesta Beach (sometimes known as Siesta Key Beach) is a beach located on Siesta Key in the U.S. state of Florida. The sand is 99% pure Quartz (Silica sand), soft and cool on the feet.
Siesta Key Beach offers tennis and volleyball courts, shaded playground and picnic area, and convenient concession stands for a quick bite or a refreshing drink. Its shallow water near the shoreline and year-round lifeguard protection make it a great beach for the whole family. You can even borrow beach wheelchairs if you have visitor that needs help across the sand.
Continuously one of the best beaches to visit year after year, there isn't a better place to go than Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, Florida.

There is a lot going on in this episode. Caleb’s birthday a lot of fun as we took a boat ride out to Coral Island near Guaybitos, Mexico to do a little snorkeling. Then it’s time for this old RV for some RV upgrades. I finally fixed the front cap from coming apart, which was a Pacific Coachworks defect that they did a lousy job covering up and “we” also added metal wheel wells from the flat tires I’ve had in the past. Then it was off to hills with the Mexican Love Express to donate clothes and resources to hundreds of people. Trish and Caleb would have been there, but they were under the weather, so it was just Carson and Dad. We then got Tori from the airport and visited the doctor before releasing turtles into the sunset.

The long awaited border crossing has arrived. We crossed the board on New Years Day and make our way to San Carlos Mexico where we stayed at Totonaka RV park. Then we made our way to a Pemex station near Los Mochis before arriving in Mazatlan on the third day. Already the drive down has been fun and entertaining.

Now that we've settled into our site at La Penita RV Park, it's time to check out the nearby towns. Such as Sayulita Mexico, a once sleepy surfer town turned trendy hipster hot spot. Then it was time to get the travel trailer and truck washed and more laundry :) But first we discovered some baby turtles being released a couple miles down the beach and vlogged the entire process. Definitely a bucket-list item checked off!

MONUMENT VALLEY | SCENIC DRIVE & SUNRISE (RV AMERICA)
RVing the Southwest has been every bit has breathtaking as we imagined. When you think of the Southwest, Monument Valley likely what comes to mind. In this episode, we stay at Gouldings RV Park just minuets from the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. If you have a National Park Pass, it won’t work here. We paid $20 for our vehicle and it was a 3 day pass, which was perfect to drive the 17 mile “Valley Drive” and we come back to hike the Wildcat trail the next day. We also woke up early to catch the sunrise at “The View” which is the hotel overlooking the park. During the season, you can dry camp at The View RV Park.

We ended up staying at Miami Everglades RV Resort. Beautiful property with all sorts of activities at a reasonable rate.

If you’re looking for things to do while you’re Florida, be sure to add Down South Airboat Tours to the top of your list. We’ve done the typical “everglades tour” before, but nothing could have prepared us for what we were about to experience. This was the real deal and a must-do activity in Florida.

RV Florida: Preparing for Hurricane Matthew in St. Augustine FL (Ep 24 Keep Your Daydream)
We met up with Sailing Britican in Charleston, SC before we made our way down to St. Augustine, FL via Savannah, GA only to get evacuated by Hurricane Matthew. We ended up heading inland to Silver Springs RV park in Ocala, FL to hang out for a few days while Matthew passed and then arrived in Miami.

Siesta Key BEACH DAY / RV Living {Florida}
Siesta Key Beach Day: Relaxing on the soft white sands on the beach in Florida sound like an amazing day to me! What about you? We are Barry and Jen who made the decision to live full time in an RV and travel with our 2 dogs, Cali and Izzy. Beaches have always been a relaxing place for me (Jen) and Barry loves hiking the mountains. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love hiking as well but when it comes to relaxing the beach is for me. In this episode we take you through our day starting with our morning routine and then take you with us to Siesta Key Beach in Florida to soak up some rays for the day. One of Florida's Best - Siesta Beach
This video shows my visit to one of Florida's best beaches - Siesta Beach near Sarasota. I've made several visits to Siesta Key and enjoy visiting and walking on Siesta Beach. The beach is not traditional sand but brilliant white mineral quartz.
