Lisbon is an illuminated city. The almost constant presence of sunshine and the River Tagus transforms the Portuguese capital into a mirror of a thousand colours - highlighting the city’s unique architecture and beauty.
There are so many things to see and do in Lisbon that visitors have access to a wide array of different experiences.
As we flight through Lisbon - whose history spans back thousands of years – we find streets filled with heritage monuments, and characteristic neighbourhoods where the city first developed and can still be experienced at its most genuine level.
The Nations Park, widely known even to English speaking visitors as Parque das Nacoes, is not a garden proper, but rather an area of Lisbon. The area was dramatically transformed in the late 20th century in view of accommodating the events and exhibitions occasioned by the Expo’98 World Exhibition, such that at present the Nations Park is one of the most exquisite places where tourists can spend time in Lisbon.
The area stretches in the very proximity of the Tagus Estuary.

Santa Rita & Porto Novo beaches ????️ aerial view - Torres Vedras - 4K UltraHD
Located on the mouth of Alcabrichel river, the Porto Novo Beach is located on the lower extent of a most beautiful valley incorporating slopes covered in rich, green vegetation covering remnants of pre-historic settlements. Historically a fishing port, this site also takes its place in the history books as the place where British troops disembarked prior to the Battle of Vimeiro, during the first Napoleonic invasion, in 1807.
Close by is the thermal spa resort of Vimeiro, which provides a complementary set of attractions including a golf course, an equestrian centre and a heated swimming pool.
Situada na foz do Rio Alcabrichel, a Praia de Porto Novo encontra-se no limiar de um vale paradisíaco, entre escarpas cobertas de vegetação luxuriante, que escondem grutas com vestígios pré-históricos. Antigo porto piscatório, esta praia é também conhecida por ter sido o local de desembarque das tropas britânicas que viriam a combater na batalha do Vimeiro, aquando da primeira invasão napoleónica, em 1807.
Muito perto, situa-se o complexo termal do Vimeiro que proporciona diversos atractivos complementares como o campo de golfe, o centro hípico e uma piscina de água aquecida.

Escadaria da Barragem de Varosa ???? Varosa Dam Big stairs - Lamego - 4K Ultra HD
The Varosa Dam is located near Lamego and was built in 1976.
They are stairs so steep that the difference between running them or doing mountaineering is not great !!
Arriving at the eastern tip of this concrete engineering, we see, on the opposite side, a disordered serpent rising and falling.
A short cut in a rugged granite valley well framed.
A Barragem de Varosa fica perto de Lamego e foi construída em 1976.
São escadas tão a pique que a diferença entre corrê-las ou fazer alpinismo não é grande!!
Chegados à ponta oriente desta engenharia de betão, vemos, do lado oposto, uma desordenada serpente a subir e a descer, um corta recorta num escarpado vale de granito bem emoldurado.

São João das Arribas ????️ Wonder of Portugal - International Douro - Douro Internacional - 4K UltraHD
The Douro international natural park covers the area where the river Douro forms the border between Portugal and Spain.
The park's symbol is the Egyptian Vulture, one of the most emblematic species in the region. The Park has great lithological diversity, composed of granite and schist formations, which originate rocky outcrops of considerable geomorphological interest. Huge quartzite cliffs overhanging the water lines are frequent, forming natural viewpoints of great scenic value.
Uma das maravilhas naturais de Portugal o parque natural do Douro internacional abrange a área em que o rio Douro constitui a fronteira entre Portugal e Espanha.
O símbolo do parque é o Abutre-do-Egito, uma das espécies mais emblemáticas da região. O Parque possui grande diversidade litológica, composta por formações de granito e xisto, que originam afloramentos rochosos de considerável interesse geomorfológico. São frequentes enormes penhascos quartzíticos pendendo sobre as linhas de água, formando miradouros naturais de grande valor paisagístico.

Albufeira era originalmente uma pequena vila piscatória mas transformou-se numa das cidades mais animadas de todo o Algarve devido ao grande número de turistas que atrai todos os anos. Entre as razões para ser uma zona tão concorrida encontram-se os hotéis, os restaurantes, as lojas, e sobretudo as praias.
As praias de Albufeira são a principal atracção para a maioria dos turistas. Em frente à Cidade, fica a Praia dos Pescadores, com bonitas formações rochosas.
