Nyiragongo Volcano, Virunga NP, DR Congo [Amazing Places 4K]
Mount Nyiragongo is an active volcano in Virunga National Park, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Trekking to the crater rim (starting at 1,989m/6,525ft, reaching 3,470m/11,380ft) is about 5-6 hours, the hikers sleep in huts on the top and enjoy stunning night views of one of only several crater lakes in the world, this one being the largest.
Virunga National Park, in the eastern part of DR Congo, was the first Africa's national park, established in 1825, and UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979.

The Mountain gorillas are highly endangered species, only about 880 are left in the world, they all live in four national parks in DR Congo, Rwanda and Uganda. The National Parks organize trekking for small groups to visit and watch the gorillas. The visits last one hour.
Virunga National Park, in the eastern part of DR Congo, was the first Africa's national park, established in 1825, and UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking In Virunga National Park, Congo DRC | 2018
In late 2017, we traveled to Virunga National Park located in the Democratic Republic of Congo to track the incredible mountain gorillas.
Virunga National Park is one of only 3 places in the world where you can come face to face with mountain gorillas in the wild (Uganda and Rwanda are the other two). And although most travel advisories urged us to forego travel to the DRC, due to the unstable situation in the region, we choose to support the park, its rangers, and it's mountain gorillas by spending our tourist dollars on this incredible wildlife experience.
Thanks to the rangers, guides, and the wonderful staff at the Virunga National Park, our visit to the park was INCREDIBLE!

Vast savannas, dense forests, big rivers, pretty waterfalls - only the nearby area of Kinshasa has so much to explore and enjoy and it`s just the top of the iceberg. Most of the country is not that easily accessible due to the lack of roads or airports.

Mount Nyiragongo is an active stratovolcano with an elevation of 3,470 m. It is located inside Virunga National Park, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, about 12 km (7.5 mi) north of the town of Goma and Lake Kivu and just west of the border with Rwanda. The main crater is about two kilometres (1 mi) wide and usually contains a lava lake. The crater presently has two distinct cooled lava benches within the crater walls – one at about 3,175 m (10,417 ft) and a lower one at about 2,975 m (9,760 ft). Nyiragongo's lava lake has at times been the most voluminous known lava lake in recent history. On 22 May 2021, it was reported that the volcano was erupting again. Lava approached the Goma airport and moved towards the city centre of eastern Goma. It was later confirmed by the North Kivu province's military governor that the eruption was at around 17:00 GMT. A highway to Beni was cut off by lava, and authorities urged residents from the city of Goma to evacuate, causing thousands of people to leave their homes. [4K] Castle Ruins in Besiekiery - DJI Mavic Pro
Besiekiery Castle (Polish: Zamek w Besiekierach) is a castle in the Polish village of Besiekiery. It was built by the Łęczyca voivod Lawrence Sokolowski at the end of the 15th century. The knights' headquarters had a tower and was surrounded by a moat, the remains of which are visible today.
The whole video was recorded with DJI Mavic Pro.
