Niagara Falls Canada Exploring Places To Eat In The Honeymoon Capital ❤️
Welcome everyone to my channel. Today we are in Niagara Falls on a weekday.
What's it like in the falls in the fall, come find out.
I’m taking a walk looking for something to eat and looking at the sights too. We will walk along River Rd and make our way through Oakes Garden Theatre and go see inside Casino Niagara’s entrance. Inside of the entrance is what remains of the “Old Maple Leaf Village building” and its incorporated into the casino.
Maple Leaf Village was once popular amusement park that once stood where Casino Niagara now sits. I will also stop in a souvenir shop looking for something. We walk up Clifton Hill to see what different restaurants offer. I will have lunch in the Oakes Garden Theatre and then walk to see the view of the falls at the end of the walk. Come along for the walk!

Since Niagara Falls is known for being the Honeymoon Capital of the world since the 1800’s, we take a walk exploring a few wedding chapels on Lundy’s lane and talking about what they offer. We also explore the many motels, hotels, and campgrounds for places to stay a little further away from the tourist area. I took this walk October 14, 2021. NIAGARA FALLS: World’s Most Famous WATERFALLS Between AMERICA & CANADA
Welcome to our tour of Niagara Falls State Park! In this travel vlog, we'll share the history of Niagara Falls and share which side of Niagara Falls is best: The New York or the Canada side?
Niagara Falls lies between two countries: United States of America and Canada. In this Niagara Falls vlog, we're visiting both countries! There's a lot of debate over which country has better views of the Falls and we'll let you know what we think, as we tour Niagara Falls through a historical lens.
This was our first time visiting Niagara Falls and our first trip to Canada together. We quickly learned that Niagara Falls is not just one waterfall; it actually contains three waterfalls: American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Horseshoe Falls. American Falls and Bridal Veil are on the American side of Niagara Falls, in New York. Horseshoe Falls is on the Canadian side and is the largest of the park.
Niagara Falls is relatively young, compared to other waterfalls (if you consider 12,000 years old to be young). The Falls were formed by glaciers, which we'll tell you more about. We'll also share the history of how Niagara Falls became a popular tourist destination. We just had one day in Niagara Falls but were able to pack a lot in.
Visiting Niagara Falls is one of the top things to do in New York and just a quick daytrip from Buffalo, NY. Millions of people flock to Niagara Falls each year to experience the Falls in all their glory. Niagara Falls is actually the honeymoon capital of the world! You'll be surprised to learn which couple popularized the idea of honeymooning in Niagara Falls!
We were excited to cross the American-Canadian border during our Niagara Falls trip. To walk into Canada, pedestrians must cross the Rainbow Bridge and have their Passports ready. Our experience at the Niagara Falls border was not what we were expecting but we can cross it off of our bucket list.
The power of Niagara Falls generates electricity for parts of New York, USA and Ontario, Canada! Power plants have existed here for hundreds of years! There is currently a light show at the Niagara Parks Power Station, called Currents, which shows how the power plants work! It was fascinating to see!
Overall, each side of Niagara Falls offers something different for visitors. The American side will give you an up-close experience of the falls whereas the Canadian side lets you take in the beauty of all three waterfalls.

Niagara Falls is a city in Ontario, Canada. It is on the western bank of the Niagara River in the Golden Horseshoe region of Southern Ontario, with a population of 88,071 at the 2016 census.[1] Incorporated on 12 June 1903, the city is across the river from Niagara Falls, New York. The Niagara River flows over Niagara Falls at this location, creating a natural spectacle which attracts millions of tourists each year.
The tourist area, which stretches along the Niagara Parkway and promenade, is particularly concentrated at the brink of the falls. Apart from the river's natural attractions, it includes observation towers, high-rise hotels, souvenir shops, museums, indoor water parks, casinos and theatres, mostly with colourful neon billboards and advertisements. Farther to the north or south, golf courses are operated alongside historic sites from the War of 1812.
