It’s Christmas in Cyprus (well nearly, it’s the middle of December)! Join me on this short walk along Limassol Marina and around the outskirts of Limassol Castle in daylight, and then for a return visit to see the Christmas lights after dark. I also manage a sneaky visit to Agios Ermogenis beach in the winter sunshine, glorious????

Sikaminia is an exceptional traditional restaurant positioned in Limassol's old town at the graphical Eleftherias Street very close to King Richards Castle. It is runned by Mrs Demetra and Mr Lakis whereas Mrs Demetra is the cook with the gold fingers as they say. The restaurant is maybe one of the very few to serve so many truely traditional cooked dishes all in the same day. The simple traditional decor, the high ceiling, the open view kitchen, the friendly staff, all come together to produce the feeling of being at home.

The tables are situated in a wide open area under lemon trees surrounded by candles and calm lighting creating the perfect ambiance for a summer night out. PlusSea Lifestyle Bar - Sunrise to sunset and beyond
There's no other way to put it; some shoots are just more enjoyable than others. This 'dusk 'til dawn' shoot definitely falls firmly in to that category. Sun, sea and swimsuit clad clientele coupled with an endless supply of frappes, fruit juices and cocktails (in the later part of the day) put it firmly near the top of our favourite list.
This 'lifestyle bar' lives up to it's promise and we hope we have captured some of that 'flavour' in this piece.
