Tahiti: Where Land And Sea Live In Harmony | TRACKS

An epic human adventure, this documentary introduces us to the artisans who cultivate, transform, and work with Tiaré flowers and black pearls. It's an opportunity to take a different look at these icons of Tahitian culture of which the public at large has not yet discovered all the secrets.

Beyond the picture-postcard setting, behind the strings of flowers and pearl jewellery, the Tiaré flower and black pearls are victims of pollution and human greed. Specialists are worried by their decrease in productivity.

But that's without taking into account the amazing energy of those who protect them, who endlessly manage to renew their image, diversify what's on offer, and maintain the cleanest environment possible in order to ensure the development of these veritable treasures of Polynesian heritage.

Superyacht Dragonfly and Palawan Dive Marshall Islands

Amazing dive site and fun time seeing the Dragonfly Superyacht anchored off of Bigej Island in Kwajalein Atoll. This dive site is usually hard to get to during the windy season here in Kwajalein. The Palawan is about 170' and from what I've been told was originally a Filipino ship that was taken by the Japanese and then later sank here in Kwaj. It is a deep dive bordering the recreational dive depth limit of 130', but well worth it. The ship's wheel is one of the main highlights. Nitrox with a mixture of 28% O2 was used instead of regular air to maximize the No Stop Limit and avoid going into Deco. Overall, solid dive and fun times!

Apologies for the audio. Need a better mic for my gopro and shipping to this island isn't exactly Prime.

The following link has some information on the Palawan wreck:

17 Best Places To Visit In Australia & The Pacific Islands - Travel Video

It's no surprise that many people choose to backpack across Oceania, which is a continent made up of Australia, New Zealand, and numerous other Pacific Ocean islands. There are many amazing places to explore and new cultures to discover due to its numerous tropical and exotic locations. Oceania's countries benefit from stunning scenery. New Zealand's landscapes are extremely diverse, ranging from rugged coastlines to dense areas of lush forest. Many hikers enjoy the intensive walks that wind through New Zealand's countryside.

Australia is covered in desert and outback terrain that is ideal for off-roading. On one of the Great Ocean Road tours, you can also see Australia's famous beaches. Fiji, one of Oceania's other islands, is dotted with volcanoes that many people choose to hike up. Oceania still has a thriving indigenous population, particularly in Australia and New Zealand. Maori people, who arrived in New Zealand around 1,000 years ago, make up about 14 percent of the population. The indigenous people of Australia are known as Aborigines. These communities are important to the cultures of both countries, and you will have the chance to learn about their traditions and customs while traveling.

Marshallinseln | Bikini Atoll | Nuklear Flotte | Oceans & Skies

War in the Pacific, the supply route to Australia

After the japanese attack on Pearl Harbour, the Japanese started to consolidate their gains in the East. HongKong had gone with Singapore on the way out.
With most of his fleet sunk Admiral Nimitz had to establish a supply route from the USA to Australia, but on the way he had to neutralise the Japanese forces in the Marshall and Gilbert Islands.
