Guadeloupe Drone Flight: Guadeloupe, a French overseas region, is an island group in the southern Caribbean Sea. Resembling a butterfly, its 2 largest islands are separated by the Salée River. Hilly Grande-Terre Island has long beaches and sugarcane fields. On Basse-Terre Island, Parc National de la Guadeloupe encompasses Carbet Falls and the volcano La Grande Soufrière. Smaller islands include Marie-Galante and La Désirade. Pointe-à-Pitre, the capital, has narrow, busy streets and colorful Caribbean markets including Marché Saint-Antoine. Beaches line the coast, ranging from Grand-Terres soft white sand at Anse des Salines to the black volcanic variety on Basse-Terres west end. Visitors can tour rum distilleries as well as coffee and chocolate plantations. La Réserve Cousteau, a national park and dive site off tiny Pigeon Island, contains a colorful underwater environment. Summary of the highlights of our trip to Guadeloupe in july 2020. We stayed in Deshaies (the place is called Chez Swann). The video is shot mostly on iPhone 11 Pro with DJI Osmo Mobile, but also some shots from my GoPro Hero8 Black and my DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Edited in Final Cut Pro X.

Located near Pointe-à-Pitre, on the south coast of the island of Grande-Terre, the town of Le Gosier, which takes its name from a species of pelican called grand gosier (literally meaning large throat pouch), is one of the main tourist destinations in the Guadeloupe archipelago. Cette vidéo est une véritable invitation à l'évasion dans l'un des joyaux des Caraïbes.
Les images enchanteresses de cette vidéo commencent par dévoiler les magnifiques plages de la Guadeloupe, avec un sable d'une blancheur immaculée baigné par les eaux turquoise de la mer des Caraïbes. Les vues aériennes offrent une perspective à couper le souffle, montrant les récifs coralliens, les cocotiers se balançant doucement et l'horizon sans fin. La plage de Grande Anse se dévoile majestueuse avec ses paysages spectaculaires.
Plage Bois Jolan nous transporte dans un cadre idyllique, où les eaux claires se mêlent aux palmiers pour créer une atmosphère de carte postale. Plage des Amandiers, petite et isolée, offre un havre de paix pour les amoureux de la nature.

La vidéo se poursuit en nous présentant Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin, une lagune protégée qui offre des opportunités de plongée en apnée exceptionnelles. Plage de Leroux, Plage d'Antigue, Anse du Soufleur, et Anse Rodrigue nous émerveillent avec leurs paysages variés.
Anse aux Moustiques et Anse du Vieux Fort nous transportent dans des recoins isolés et pittoresques de la Guadeloupe, où la beauté naturelle règne en maître.

Magnifique Guadeloupe????
Au début, le plan initial était d'aller au Mexique dans un merveilleux endroit isolé du monde. Par contre, en raison de plusieurs facteurs, nous avons changé d'itinéraire pour aller en Guadeloupe.
Pourquoi la Guadeloupe? Car c'est tellement plus exotique et unique que le Mexique!???? (selon moi)
Le tournage a été difficile en raison de la température qui n'était pas toujours de notre bord... même que faire voler le drone a été un de mes plus gros défi jusqu'à présent en tant que pilote de drone. Les vents étaient d'une puissance constante que nous n'avons pas vraiment au sud du Canada????
En bref, bon visionnement de notre vidéo de la Guadeloupe!

Beautiful Guadeloupe ????
At first, the original plan was to go to Mexico to a wonderful place isolated from the world. On the other hand, due to many factors, we changed our itinerary to go to Guadeloupe.
Why Guadeloupe? Because it's so much more exotic and unique than Mexico!???? (in my opinion)
Filming was difficult due to the weather not always being on our side... even flying the drone was one of my biggest challenges so far as a drone pilot. The winds were of a constant power which we don't really have in southern Canada????
In short, good viewing of our Guadeloupe 4k

About Saint-Anne: Sainte-Anne is a city in the southern part of Grande-Terre, considered by some to be one of the most touristy towns of Guadeloupe (with Le Gosier and Saint-François). The commune turned decidedly towards tourism in the last 20 years, but still remains dependent on agriculture. // Guadeloupe is an archipelago forming an overseas region of France in the Caribbean.
