We go from Punta Cana to Saona Island on a boat tour. We do lots of swimming, dancing and have tons of fun in the Dominican Republic sunshine. SAONA ISLAND | DOMINICAN REPUBLIC | Day Trip Excursion to the most famous attraction in DR
Saona Island is a beautiful island in the southeastern part of Dominican Republic considered the most popular attraction in Dominican Republic due to its clear turquoise waters and white sand beach.
It is part of the Caribbean seas of East National Park which could be accessed via a short boat ride from Bayahibe, a small town 1 to 1.5 hour-drive from Punta Cana or 2-hour drive from Dominican Republic's capital city, Sto. Domingo.
Day tour excursions often start with a pick-up service from Punta Cana. Boat ride to the island includes a stop midway at a waist-deep lagoon considered the largest natural swimming pool in the world and the location of Brooke Shield's film “Blue Lagoon”.
Tours include lunch buffet, open bar, and entertainment. I highly recommend this tour when visiting DR.

Samana ???????? beach tour 4K
From Las Galeras we went on a beach tour during our vacation, where some of the most beautiful beaches in the region can only be reached by boat and where you have the opportunity to explore, snorkel or swim. The tour lasted a full day with lunch break on the beach and opportunities for nice photo stops. If you are traveling after Covid19 in Samara in the Dominican Republic, make a note of it. The tour took us to the following beaches with stops: Playa Fronton (one of the film sets for Pirates of the Caribbean 2), Playa Madama, Playa Rincon, Playa Colorada and back to our hotel at Playa Grande.
