Tribute to Jurassic Park: The Ride on its LAST DAY 09/03/18 at Universal Studios Hollywood
Please enjoy this final tribute to Jurassic Park: The Ride! This footage was shot at the end of its last day of operation on Labor Day, September 3, 2018. Employees and devoted Jurassic Park fans were getting their last group photos and rides through the classic attraction before it faced extinction. Get one last look at the area pre-refurbishment including the gift shop, Jurassic Café, Raptor Encounter and more. Life finds a way in 2019 when the ride will be reborn as Jurassic World.

Raptor Encounter is one of the top attractions at Universal Studios, Los Angeles. Raptor Encounter is just by Jurassic Park ride, we met Zulu and it was a real fun.
New Raptor Encounter - Meet Blue from Jurassic World | Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Velociraptors have been haunting our nightmares ever since seeing them on the screen in “Jurassic Park.” Owen Grady has been training these ferocious prehistoric dinosaurs, and now you can meet Blue from “Jurassic World” at Universal’s Islands of Adventure!
While the park was closed, construction continued on a new permanent location for the raptor encounter. The raptor encounter with Blue marks the first “Jurassic World”-themed attraction at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. ~Hop~ along as we visit Isla Nublar and meet a member of the raptor pack. Look for the “Jurassic World” meet and greet between Pizza Predattoria and the Jurassic Park River Adventure attraction. While we found our cameraman’s footage, we have not been able to locate our cameraman, so be careful and keep an eye out!

The new raptor was once again designed by the incredible Michael Curry Design team, known for creative costumes and puppets featured in Broadway shows as well as theme parks around the world. Michael Aiello, Senior Director of Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando, says the new suit is a version 2.0 of the original Raptor Encounter. This new iteration features more realistic features including blinking eyes and a visual design that is more faithful to the films. You can meet Blue now at Islands of Adventure, making appearances daily at the back of the park.
