From Nelson's Dockyard, we boarded the water taxi to drop us off on Galleon Beach. It was a great place for sailboats to anchor, and not very crowded in the harbour.
Other than one other couple and a couple of families, we were the only ones on the beach that day. We brought sandwiches with us, and had a little picnic. It was a Monday, and the beach bar was closed.
All in all, a lovely, quiet time for swimming and relaxing.
