When you travel to Tehran, you will fall in love with the street food as soon as you arrive! Today, we're starting out with a local Iranian BREAKFAST haleem and NOODLE dish! Serving 100's of people every day!

It was found in downtown Tehran in an old bazaar, the Tajrish Bazaar, where there is hundreds of Iranian foods and spices to see!

Huge Iranian Food Tour!! INSANE KEBABS + Cherry Rice!! | Best Persian Food in Los Angeles!!

???????? Iranian Street Food Tour:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Los Angeles is home to a large Iranian community in a variety of different areas of the city. Today, we’re taking you on an ultimate and unforgettable Iranian (and Persian) food tour in LA, and I can’t wait to share all the delicious food with you now!

Huge thank you to Nia & Sahra, who are both originally from Iran, now living in LA for joining me on this epic day of Iranian food. Follow their food adventures here:

Here are the places we ate at in this LA food tour:

Attari Sandwich Shop ( - We started off this Persian food tour in Tehrangeles, one of the first Iranian communities in LA. One of the most legendary restaurants is Attari Sandwich Shop, where along with many dishes, they are famous for their lamb tongue and brain sandwich. It’s so good!

Saffron & Rose Ice Cream ( - Across the street you’ll find Saffron & Rose Ice Cream for fantastic Persian ice cream and Shirazi style falooda.

Raffi's Place ( - If there’s one Persian restaurant in LA, or in all of the United States that you must try, it has to be Raffi's Place. We had the honor to meet Mr. and Mrs. Raffi, they showed us around their amazing restaurants and we ate lunch with them. They have a hugely inspirational story of how Raffi's Place became one of the greatest Persian restaurants in LA, and the food is outstanding. Don’t miss all the different kebabs and varieties of rice.

Nersses Vanak Restaurant ( - Finally to complete this ultimate day of Iranian food in Los Angeles, we went to Nersses Vanak Restaurant, a relaxed, and again family run Iranian restaurant. Along with a full menu of kebabs and stews, one of the main dishes to eat is their legendary dizi - a stew of lamb, beans, and potatoes, cooked down until fall apart tender - it’s a favorite dish of Iran for me. Their lamb shank is also pilgrimage worthy.

And that completes an amazing day of eating some of the best Iranian food in Los Angeles - in the United States!

Top 10 Places to Visit in Iran - Travel Documentary

Iran is one of the world’s most beautiful and interesting countries, and an eye-opening travel destination. From mesmerizing desert landscapes to the shores of the Persian Gulf. From the ruins of Persepolis to the modern streets of Tehran. From charming mountain villages to lively historic bazaars.

Today’s Iran is a complicated, intriguing, but also a fascinating place, with some of the most welcoming and curious people you will ever meet. I traveled through Iran in 2013, and in this video I take you back to 10 favorite places that I visited.

Here’s a brief overview of the content in this video:

We start this journey in Esfahan, one of Iran’s most beautiful and friendliest cities, attracting tourists and travelers from afar. It is filled with captivating monuments, historic buildings, tranquil gardens, museums, and in general provides a great introduction to daily life in Iran.

After Esfahan, we travel to Kerman, a city on the fringes of the desert. It is most popular for what lies outside the city, the remains of the ‘Arg’ (an ancient citadel), and the small town of Rayen with its beautiful gardens and shrine. Not far from here are the Kaluts, some of Iran’s most spectacular desert scenery. These places are best reached by private vehicle, as public transport here is limited.

Iran has a long coastline and several island, the largest of which is Qeshm, in the Persian Gulf. This island is relatively underdeveloped and retains much of its traditional characteristics. It’s a great way to get an insight into local Bandari culture, and to witness some of the local economy at work, including agriculture, fishing, and the construction of classic ‘lenge’ boats.

Shiraz is regarded as the center of Persian culture for the last two millennia, and has some of the country’s most beautiful ancient bazaars and historic mosques. It’s also home for the tombs of Hafez and Sa’di, two poets that hold a special place in Iranian society and literature. The ruins of Persepolis, just outside Shiraz, evoke images of a thriving ancient Persia, and should not be missed.

The next destination is Tehran, the bustling capital city, and beating economic heart, of Iran. As the most secular and liberal city in the country, it’s the best place to learn about modern Iran. Qom, on the other hand, is one of the conservative ‘strongholds’ in the country, and provides an interesting contrast with Tehran.

We travel further to Kandovan, a beautiful mountain village where some of the houses are carved out of eroded rocks. It’s near Tabriz, the final destination in the video, famous for its magnificent bazaar.

Best BREAKFAST in Yazd! Delicious IRANIAN FOOD TOUR in Iran!

With my time in Yazd, Iran almost at an end, I headed out on one final food adventure before we headed to our next city! Come with me on my fun Iranian village food experience in Yazd, Iran!

Mr. Taster and I would be seeing how a couple of different dishes are made, including shooli ash, which is a popular dish in Yazd, as well as abgoosht (dizi with eggplant), and more!

???? MY TRAVEL BLOG:

After meeting the team, we headed inside the Saraye Jahangara Traditional Hotel, which is a large, traditional house. The grounds were beautiful! They had some beautiful peacocks and a pretty white bird. There were also gardens, a fountain, outdoor seating, a resting area, and more.

They served us some amazing musk willow tea, and then the woman started cooking. They had lamb, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, chickpeas, turmeric, salt, and pepper ready for the dish. They start by boiling the lamb for 10 minutes before adding black pepper and turmeric. The cooking process takes 2 hours!

For the other stew, they had lamb, split peas, apricots, and more! I tried an apricot, which was nice, sticky, and meaty! Then, the woman added turmeric, black pepper, quince, and split peas to the pot. Later, she adds the apricot!

While we waited for them to cook, we started a fire in the sun so we could make some coffee! It was so hot out! It was so hot, they covered our seating area to give us some shade!

These dishes are unique to Yazd, so they’re a must when you come here. We had more musk willow to cool off. Then, they put cacao, sugar, coffee in a pot. It usually takes 2 hours to prepare properly, but we’d be shortening it.

After adding tomatoes and potatoes to another dish, I saw them making rolling out balls of a local bread dough. They add herbs to it and cook it in a tanoor oven. I tried my hand at putting the bread on the wall of the tanoor. Then, they take the bread and lower it toward the fire to let it char a bit.

The bread was nice and fluffy and contained some tasty coriander. It was so good! I couldn’t get enough of it. The sesame seeds in it were also fantastic.

Next, they started on the shooli ash, which is the must-have in Yazd. It’s a beetroot stew, but the beets are white here! Meanwhile, after 2 hours of boiling the coffee, they add cardamom and rose water. The process of making these dishes was pretty long and complicated.

We had a Yazd cake with the coffee. It was a great pairing! I loved the sweetness of them both. The rose and cardamom made it the tastiest coffee I’ve ever had!

Back at the quince stew, she added pomegranate paste and saffron. Then, they make a wheat flour slurry to add to the ash. Everything looked and smelled amazing!

For. The lamb stew, we started by sucking the bone marrow out of the bones while they mashed it up. Finally, it was time to eat!

We started with the shooli ash. You add pomegranate paste to it. It reminded me of borscht, but had a sweetness to it. I loved the crunchy beetroot! Then, we took some crunchy bread and added the abgoosht and meat juice on top. The bread soaked it all up!

The tahdig were like crispy rice patties. I loved the mix of textures! Next was the saffron rice and khoresh-e beh (quince stew). It was very balanced!

Next was the lamb stew with bread. The cinnamon added some sweetness. It was good and hearty and contained the best lamb of all the dishes. The goosht kubideh with onion and bread was fantastic! What a meal!

Where have you been?

Tasting the world's best Kaleh Pache in Hamid Tolo's restaurant, Sevom Esfand's nostalgic Pirozhki, and the preparation of Sholeh Mashhadi , the most famous dish of Mashhad, were all among the reports we got on the first day of my trip to Mashhad.

I decided to travel to this city to introduce ten special and nostalgic locations of Mashhad, the city where I actually grew up and where my family lives. Mashhad is known as the city of food and of course the city of Imam Reza, the eighth Imam of Shiye Muslims.
First, we went to Hamid Tolo's restaurant, which I must say is by far the best restaurant in the world.
At first, they brought us a delicious brain juice that has Sangak bread pieces and a mixture of brain broth and meat, you can pour some lemon juice and enjoy it, it is wonderful. The tongue, eyes, Bana goosh are also very famous here, and it is a amazing with fresh Sangak bread.

To stay in Mashhad, we chose Ghasre Talei International Hotel, which has very good facilities, such as a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath, various massages, billiard room, gym, etc., which provide the highest quality services.
They have luxurious and very comfortable rooms and suites that are equipped with the best and most modern facilities that make for a very good stay.

After a little rest, we decided to go to Sevom Esfand's Pirozhki, one of the most memorable food locations in Mashhad, which is 38 years old, and when I was a child, I used to come here a lot with my mother and eat Pirozhkis. They have delicious pirozhkis. I've really never had anything like it anywhere and the most important thing about their pirozhkis is their homemade dough, which is unique.
They have four types of pirozhkis, roast beef pirozhki, minced meat pirozhki, chicken pirozhki and pizza pirozhki, which I think the first two are one of a kind.

And as for Shole Mashhadi, which is arguably the most famous traditional dish of Mashhad and is very popular among Mashhadis, it is mostly cooked on special days.
To report on the process of making this unique dish, we came to Reza's Shole shop and they explained to us that Shole Mashhadi is similar to Haleem, but at the same time it has nothing to do with Haleem, and they use legumes instead of wheat, and of course, shredded sheep meat. It has five types of beans, red beans, Rashti beans, pinto beans, and chickpeas, which are combined together with mutton, bulgur, and rice, which takes about twenty hours to prepare and must be mixed.
The higher the amount of meat, the higher the quality of Shole Mashhadi. After it is ready, when it is served, gheimeh stew is added on to the Sholeh Mashhadi, which is extremely delicious.
