Living on $10 a day in Oaxaca City Mexico | How expensive is Oaxaca? | Ep. 27

Is Oaxaca cheap? No! Everything is little more expensive comparing to Mexico City. I met a Mexican couple from Merida in the Oaxaca airport. They feel the same.

Can I be living on $10 a day in Oaxaca? It might not be hard if I cook at home do nothing. But...

I want to get 3 meals from outside with at least one meal in a cafe or in a restaurant. I also need to have protein and vegetables, not only carbs. Besides, the $10 budget is also for transportation and one activity.

Will I have enough money to complete all the above?

Can you eat on $10 a day in Mexico in Guanajuato GTO? Is Guanajuato expensive? Before visiting the city, we had these questions too. That's why we took on the cost of living challenge to see if we could feed ourselves for an entire day on just 182 pesos (the current exchange rate). See if we could do it as we explore the cost of eating out in Guanajuato, Mexico. Where's the cheap food in Guanajuato?

CHALLENGE! How Much Does $10 Buy in Mexico? (Guadalajara)

Can you go a day in Mexico with $10? How far does $10 go in Mexico? Today, we're going to show you.
►Learn Spanish like we do!

We're taking on the challenge: How much does $10 buy in Mexico? Right now, we are specifically in Guadalajara, Mexico. You may remember that we did this challenge once before when we first arrived in the city. We decided to see if we could take on the challenge again.

Do you think eating with $10 or less is possible in Mexico? Is it reasonable for the average person living in Guadalajara Mexico to eat and drink everything they need for $10 USD or approximately 200 pesos? We're going to show you everything you can buy with this amount of money in Mexico.

We absolutely love our life in Guadalajara Mexico because it's so affordable. The cost of living in Mexico is much lower than in the US where it's nearly impossible to spend just $10 per day. Heck, you can hardly spend that on ONE meal, let alone the whole day.

How do you think we did on this $10 challenge Mexico version? Hope you enjoyed today's Guadalajara vlog. Join us tomorrow for the next one!

Expat Life in Mexico City — Is It Better Than Thailand?

In this video, I share why I think Mexico City could be a great place to live and work, especially for expats. If I didn't make Thailand home, CDMX would be my next best choice. #mexicocity #cdmx #expatlife

My current base is in Thailand, between Bangkok and Phuket, but there's something special about Mexico City that draws me in, particularly the neighborhoods of Condesa and Roma.

I explore these areas, known for being suitable for remote work, and talk about why CDMX is an ideal place for expats. The city is friendly to dogs, which means a lot to me, and it's easy to get around by bike. The parks are full of life, with people enjoying the outdoors, which adds to the city's charm.

Food is another big plus here, with amazing local dishes everywhere. I take you to some favorite spots, like Tacos Guo, a place with a long family history. Despite the higher costs, areas like La Condesa are safe and full of life, making them attractive to foreigners.

We'll also look at the everyday culture of Mexico City, from cozy cafes and bookstores to the incredible architecture and historic sites. Even with the challenge of adjusting to the altitude and a different service style, the city's active lifestyle, safety, and friendly people make it appealing for anyone considering making it their home.

Whether you're a digital nomad looking for your next spot or just curious about life in one of the most dynamic cities, this video is for you. From the easy-to-navigate streets of Condesa and Roma to the hospitality of its residents, find out why Mexico City might just be the perfect place for expats. Follow me as we discover what makes CDMX a strong candidate for a home base where history, culture, and convenience come together.

Cost of Living in Mexico City (2019) | Ep. 20

Hola amigos! Long time no see! I have been traveling to different places in Michoacan. Now, I am in Puebla. A lot of footage is waiting for me to edit. Stay tune! In this video, I will talk about my cost of living in Mexico City. Big city is convenient but easy for me to spend more.

The rent and living space in Mexico City are similar to other big cities. There are so many choices of dinning out, from cheap eats to fine dining. At the end, every thing adds up.

Information online tends to tell us that the cost of living in Mexico is low. Yes, it is lower than at home. But mostly, people don't put clothing, hobby and travelling expenses in their cost when they show you. It seems like living the cheapest is the champion.

Honestly, people from developed countries have expectation on basic living standard. How much you spend depends on what your life standard is.

Is Mexico City Expensive? Is Mexico City Cheap? Buying Food At A Local Farmer's Market (Tianguis)

Is Mexico City Expensive? Is Mexico City Cheap? Buying Food At A Local Farmer's Market (Tianguis) I went to a local farmers market (they are called Tianguis in Mexico City) to see what was available and at what price. I bought red bananas, yellow bananas, fried bananas, mango, ground beef, fresh pineapple juice, fresh grapefruit juice, coconut cream, a fruit called mamey, guacamole, vegetables, and blueberries! I ended up spending less than $20 USD.

Check out sercret rooftops in Medellin:

The music, the people, the food, and the ambience make it hard not to love the local markets in Mexico City!

This market was more local (and had lower prices) than my last video which was at Mercado Medellin in Roma (Mexico City).

Do you think I spent too much? Could I have haggled for lower prices? What did I miss?
