These small islands offer spectacular scenery as far as the eyes can see.
The Northern Mariana Islands are an archipelago in northwestern Micronesia.
It borders the Northwestern Pacific Ocean to the east and the Philippine Sea to the west.

This was such an amazing trip we were fortunate enough to take! Saipan is the second largest island In the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands - CNMI.
Saipan has pristine beaches, championship golf courses, world class diving and snorkeling. Visitors can experience a variety of cultural and historical sites as well as recreational events
Saipan’s torquiose blue water hides wrecks and remnants of the Pacific War and is a snorker and scuba diver’s paradise. Towering cliffs and pristine jungle lures hikers with caves still filled with the detritus of a war now remembered by years round ceremonies held at inspiring peace memorials of many nations.
A trip to “The last Command Post” of the Japanese Imperial Army or the “Suicide Cliff” where thousands tragically kept to their deaths or the old Japanese Jail where aviatrix Amelia Earhart was thought to be held captive are worthwhile and exciting attractions.
Tiny Managaha Island inside Saipan’s blue lagoon is a must see, and boasts crystal waters ideal for first rate snorkeling and water sports. The cavernous Grotto is rated as the #2 dive spot in all of the Pacific and numerous shore dives await the eager diver.

Island of Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, Pacific Ocean - Micro Beach in Saipan tour. Let's travel to island of Saipan in the Northern Mariana islands in the Pacific Ocean and let's visit Micro Beach which is one of Saipan's more famous beaches. Micro beach sits adjacent to the American Memorial Park and boasts turquoise waters upon a fine white, sandy shore. Micro Beach is perhaps the most popular beach in Saipan and there are many picnic tables, a playground, and a softball field. Wind surfers take advantage of the calm waves and the steady wind at Micro Beach. The Northern part of the beach is the site of an ancient Carolinian village. You can also see inside WW II Japanese bunkers that line the beach (shown in a different video).

Just showing the beauty of the island. Free to swim in any beach. Clean water, clean surroundings and fresh air. Truly it is a paradise. The videos were taken before the Island was strucked by super typhoon Yutu.

Saipan , holiday island of the Northern Mariana Islands (US), Capitol Hill, travel, hotels, tourismSaipan /saɪˈpæn/ is the largest island of the Northern Mariana Islands, a commonwealth of the United States in the western Pacific Ocean. According to the 2010 United States Census, Saipan's population was 48,220.
The Commonwealth's center of government is located in the village of Capitol Hill on the island. Since the entire island is organized as a single municipality, most publications term Saipan as the Commonwealth's capital.
The current Mayor of Saipan is David M. Apatang, who was sworn into office on June 12, 2015.

Tourism has traditionally been a vital source of the island's revenue and economic activities. In years past, one of the main economic driving forces in Saipan was garment manufacturing. The USA agreed that the CNMI would be exempted from certain federal laws, including some concerning labor and immigration. One result was an increase in hotels and tourism. However, dozens of garment factories also opened; clothing manufacture became the island's chief economic force, employing thousands of foreign contract laborers while labeling their goods made in the U.S.A. and supplying the U.S. market with low cost garments exempt from U.S. tariffs. The working conditions and treatment experienced by employees in these factories were the subject of controversy and criticism.[16]
As of March 2007,[17] 19 companies manufactured garments on Saipan. In addition to many foreign-owned and run companies, many well-known U.S. brands also operated garment factories in Saipan for much of the last three decades. Brands included Gap (as of 2000 operating six[18] factories there), Levi Strauss,[19] Phillips-Van Heusen,[20] Abercrombie & Fitch,[21] L'Oreal subsidiary Ralph Lauren (Polo),[22] Lord & Taylor,[23] Tommy Hilfiger, and Walmart.[24]
Currently, there are no garment manufacturers on the island, with the last one having closed on January 15, 2009.[25] On November 28, 2009, the federal government took control of immigration to the Northern Mariana Islands.[26]

Controversy[edit]The island of Saipan has a total of 30 official villages. However, there are many sub-areas and neighborhoods located in certain villages such as Afetnas in San Antonio and Tapochau and I Denne in Capitol Hill. Those marked SV: are the sub-villages.

Let's travel to the island of Saipan in the Pacific Ocean and let's go for a walk inside this small but luxurious THE 'T GALLERIA' shopping mall which is located in the beautiful city of Garapan of Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands in the Western Pacific Ocean.
The 'T GALLERIA' shopping mall in Saipan has every high end store you could dream of walking through. I have no idea why you would go to Saipan to do that type of shopping, BUT, if you just wanted to be able to say you bought your $1000 Gucci boots in Saipan, then by all means, go to the 'T GALLERIA' shopping mall in Saipan. The merchandise was exquisite I must admit. Tiffany, as well as, Prada, Loews, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, etc. The 'T GALLERIA' shopping mall in Saipan is a great place to escape the humidity and live the dream if only for a fleeting moment.
