First time in Trinidad and Tobago!! ???????? 20-HOUR STREET FOOD TOUR - Ultimate Food in Port of Spain!!

???????? Trinidad and Tobago - Ultimate Street Food Tour!

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO - Welcome to Port of Spain, the Capital of Trinidad and Tobago islands in the Caribbean! I’m so excited to finally be here. So many of you have written to me over the years inviting me to visit for the amazing food and culture, so it’s really an honor to finally be here and to explore the incredible food. Let’s get started eating, we’re jumping straight into a massive 20 hour day of eating local street food!

Huge thank you to #visitTrinidad for inviting me to Trinidad and Tobago and for making this trip happen!

Friends in the video:
Zaak (Foodie Tales with Zaak):
Baidawi (Eatahfood):
David (D’Market Movers):
Brent (Hungry Belly 868):

And here’s everything we did in the video, and all the food we ate:

Central Market - We started off today at the Central Market in Port of Spain, bright and early in the morning before 7 am. And with Baidawi and David, who go to the market every weekend to do their shopping and have breakfast, we were in the right hands. After exploring the market and the amazing produce and ingredients that go into food in Trinidad and Tobago we then headed to the food court for some local fish broth and cow heel soup.

EatAhFood - Baidawi makes fantastic food videos, especially recipes, and so we bought ingredients and headed back to his house to cook Callaloo, an Afro Caribbean food of simmered down taro leaves and pumpkin and coconut milk. It was so good!

Roti - One of the greatest of all Trinidadian foods is roti - different from anywhere else. The rotis are huge and fresh and then stuffed with pumpkin, potato, and curry of your choice. An afternoon bulging roti with Zaak, was absolutely delicious.

Queens Park Savannah - Port of Spain - To continue on with this street food tour in Trinidad and Tobago, we went to Queens Park Savannah for a coconut and then continued on to the evening street food market to sample a bunch of different local foods - everything from doubles to pholourie and roast fish.

Yousef Gyro ( - Trinidad and Tobago is so diverse and there’s even a local Middle Eastern population including Yousef Gyro, owned by descendants of Syrian immigrants. They make all sorts of wraps and gyros and combinations you won’t find anywhere else. This is the ultimate late night food in Trinidad!

Dass Doubles Factory ( - We did have a quick doubles at the street food night market, but we went to Dass Doubles Factory for the real deal late night doubles. They made the barras fresh and load them up with heavy peppa sauce and delicious curry chickpeas.

Hadco Phase II Pan Groove Orchestra Pan Yard ( - Finally to complete this day we were treated to a panyard lime to see the ultimate instrument of Trinidad and Tobago - steel pan! It was so cool to see and an amazing way to wrap up this ultimate street food tour - and they have delicious food!

Again, thank you to everyone who made this video possible and to #visitTrinidad!

TOBAGO: TRAVEL GUIDE Trinidad & Tobago - ALL top sights in 4K + Drone

In this video I take you on an adventure through the natural paradise of Tobago. The island is part of the country of Trinidad and Tobago, named after the two islands. Trinidad is busy, industrial, built-up and even a bit dangerous due to the amount of crime. Tobago, on the other hand, is an oasis of peace, where people still mainly live from fishing and now a small amount of tourism. The country is one big natural paradise. In this video I show you why Tobago is a surprisingly beautiful and unique destination, which is wrongly not often mentioned on lists of beautiful Caribbean islands. It is simply even more unknown and therefore so untouched and pure.

I visit Tobago with my wife and three year old son, on an island hopping adventure like no other through the Caribbean. This year we picked up the route in Martinique and from there we took the boat to Saint Lucia. From there we flew a small plane over the azure waters to Tobago. We sleep in a tree house between the jungle and the beach, see local fishermen at work and enjoy all the plants and animals all around us. From Castara we cross the rainforest to Argyle Falls, the most beautiful waterfall. We also visit Crown Point and Pigeon Point to the west and the most beautiful pristine beach at Englishman's Bay.

This year we are traveling all over the world and after the Canary Islands, Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique and Saint Lucia, Tobago is our sixth destination. Follow us on this world tour, first in the Caribbean and then to many more beautiful destinations! We travel non-stop all year round and film everything. Cuba SUCKS, I'm Leaving. (why it's the worst country i've ever visited) ????????

???? TRINIDAD, CUBA (1.9)
This video tells a story, so make a hot drink, turn your phone horizontal and get comfortable. Come with me as I explore Trinidad and chat to the locals about life on the island to find out what Cubans are protesting about? What's it like to live on the island? What basic amenities are available to the population? What's Cuba like? and more. #FREECUBA

I start off buying a sombrero from a couple that have never left Trinidad and explain their difficulties in buying materials for their business. I then head to the local store to show the limited stock they have and how it's impossible for locals to buy anything because the stores don't accept the national currency. Ridiculous I know. After drinking a Cancanchara we get a bicycle taxi to the housing projects where tourists don't go to show a different side to Trinidad. We ascend a roof through a tiny hole and get shown photos of La Trova when the island was a popular tourist destination.

Discovering Tobago - A month in Paradise (4K)

This video is about a month spent in the idyllic village of Parlatuvier while exploring the exotic southern Caribbean island of Tobago (Trinidad and Tobago).

Tobago is a must visit destination for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Caribbean culture, world class beaches, stunning landscapes and friendly people.

Nat and I spent a month in peak season in Parlatuvier, a sleepy fishing village that offers visitors a quintessential, laid back base to experience some of the best Tobago has to offer. From picture perfect beaches to the many nearby restaurants in Castara and incredibly natural beauty at nearby waterfalls and UNESCO listed Main Ridge Forest Reserve.

Buying fish everyday direct from the fishermen, eating local cooked food and having guides turned friends take us around the island on a private tour made for a memorable stay. Only a few locals feature in this video but we're forever grateful for the many others in Parlatuvier that made us feel welcome from the day we arrived. They know who they are!

If you get the opportunity to visit this beautiful island, we'd strongly encourage you to do so. For now, hopefully this video can give you a taste of the Tobago experience.

Cheers

Ricky (and Nat)

To enjoy a delicious home cooked meal from Joanne - turn left at the beach and continue along the dirt road to the end. You’ll likely hear music coming from Joanne’s house.

Hi, We are Tugce and Gokay,Turkish couple travel bloggers who travel the world and live in different destinations. We are part digital nomads, part phd students and part beach bums. Big thank you to #visitTrinidad and Visit Tobago ( for inviting me to Trinidad and Tobago and for making this trip happen! Guide to the things and food in this video:

Breakfast with Carion - We’re beginning in Les Coteaux, Tobago, a small town in the mountains that’s known for preserving its tradition and cultural heritage. Carion and her family are preparing an amazing local breakfast of coconut bake, saltfish, and cocoa tea. Seeing the process and being able to hang out and eat was extremely memorable. Uncle’s singing and drumming was also a highlight.

Chef Danielle - Next up on this Creole food tour in Tobago we met Chef Danielle, from Frontline Flavours who specializes in preserving authentic Creole cuisine of Tobago. She cooked a pot of curry fish, callaloo, and cornmeal. The food was outstanding, so fresh and so flavorful.

Tom Tom’s - Tobago is also very well known for their sweets, and learned about a few of the local sweets including beni balls and coconut fudge - one of the local favorites.

Seahorse Inn Restaurant ( - Finally to wrap up this day for food we headed to Black Rock and ate at Seahorse Inn Restaurant, one of the well known restaurants.

Sunday School - Buccoo, Tobago - Lastly, we headed to Sunday School for some live steel pan music!

It was another outstanding and memorable day on the beautiful island of Tobago!

Sailing Saoirse - Exploring Tobago ????

We finally get to explore Tobago.
After almost 5 months in Trinidad we finally made it to the blue waters of Tobago.
When arriving in Tobago we anchored in Mount Irvine Bay, a quiet little bay on the SW side of the island. We had to check in with customs and immigration (yes even though we were still in the same country) which is in Scarborough which is on the SE side of the island. Teagan and I took the dingy to shore, locked it up on a railing to the right of the life guard tower and restaurant and walked up the the main road.
There is a bus stop right there but we decided to try and get a ride share instead which was TT$ 9 each. Scarborough was about a 10 - 15 minute drive from mount Irvine.
We had to go to the Fairy/ Cruise ship Terminal and check in with Immigration first. The. You head out of the fairy terminal and east straight down the same road until you reach a Rituals Coffee and Churches Chicken on the left hand side of the road and you turn right, customs is a small building near where the huge red and white ferries park to offload people and cars.

The anchorage at mount Irvine bay was incredibly rolly while we were there. We had friends who were previously there and raved about how great and quiet it was. Unfortunately when we were there there was a funny system of swell coming from the North which made for big swells swooping through the anchorage.
The under water life and Mt Irvine was beautiful. There was lots of coral just in-front of the restaurant between the breakers and the still water. We also found incredible brain coral and life if you snorkel close to the rocks to the right of the hotel and dive shop. The reef comes up really shallow. The visibility wasn’t great and we put it down to the fact that there was a lot of swell coming through which could have been turning up a lot of sediment in the water.

We spent a day driving around Tobago with SY Puff - Kris and Ingrid. We managed to do almost the entire coast line of Tobago in a few hours - it’s not a hard thing to do because the island is so small ????

We stopped along the way at Shurland Hummingbird Viewpoint which overlooked a valley and the ocean. You pay TT$60 to be able to sit there at her beautiful look out, she gives you sugar water in your own individual containers so you can feed the hummingbirds. She also give you a piece of cake and a juice or coffee, we had opted for her fresh juice which was made of ginger, turmeric and lemon it was absolutely delicious!
There were so many hummingbirds the felt like flies around our heads, swooping around us, chasing each other, sipping sugar water from the feeders and stopping to check us out every now and then. It was such an incredible experience to be able to sit there and have wild hummingbirds so freely buzzing around you.

The roads in Tobago are narrow and windy, we are very grateful that Kris opted to drive!

Thank you for watching with us, if you enjoyed our video please give it a like and if you have any questions or comments please leave them bellow ????????????????????????????

Exploring Trinidad Cuba's Colonial Jewel

Check out this quick video of Trinidad in Cuba! We loved travelling in Cuba and while Trinidad wasn't our favourite place in the country, it did have a lot of charm. We loved the old Spanish colonial buildings, the beautiful nearby beach of Playa Ancon and the neighbouring Valley of Ingenios. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the constant hassle from street touts. We're used to it though, and we know that everyone is out to make a buck so we just joked with them and had a good time with it, but it did take away from Trinidad's otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

Check out our quick video and let us know what you think of Trinidad!
