Green Army Drum Corps Returns to Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios!
The Green Army Men have returned to Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios. They had been absent since the parks closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Guests could see them march in the Pixar Motorcade, but now they are performing in Toy Story Land once again.
Performances are scheduled daily at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. Schedules are subject to change, and guests should reference the My Disney Experience app for the day of their visit to see up-to-date showtimes.
Throughout the day, be on the lookout for the Green Army Drum Corps in Toy Story Land! This talented band of drummers is sure to entertain Guests of all ages with their high-energy performances and awe-inspiring drum sequences.

One year ago this week, Disney’s Hollywood Studios officially welcomed the very first guests to “Play Big” in Toy Story Land. And to celebrate the big anniversary and release of Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 4,” stars Tom Hanks and Tim Allen recently visited Toy Story Land and chatted about what it’s like to see their films come to life in a whole new way at the park. Did you spot those Hidden Details Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Toy Story Land Hollywood Studios is one of the coolest, most fun themed lands in Disney World. The storyline is that when you enter, you are shrunk down to the size of one of Andy’s toys and spend the day hanging out enjoying all the rides and attractions in Andy’s backyard. It’s a lot of fun and being that small…you notice some pretty cool details that those imagineers thought of to make you truly feel like one of Andy’s toys.
One of those details is featured here. If you look closely on the ground as you may notice something very distinctive…it’s Andy’s footprint! They are quite big and pretty much unnoticeable on a crowded day, but try to check it out when you take advantage of early park entry Hollywood Studios!

Toy Story Land is officially OPEN!! Koda and I rushed out to Hollywood Studios as soon as we heard that it was going to be a possibility and boy did we have a blast! The crowds were large and the lines were long but we got in and we managed to film A LOT! Its been a few days since we visited Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios and I've had some time to process my thoughts and opinions on everything ive seen so far in the land itself. From the Food at Woodys Lunch Box to the two brand new attractions Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers! This land had a lot to offer for the family, but is it a good enough land to hold its own at Walt Disney World and Hollywood Studios? Tune in to find out!
Toy Story Land Opening Day MEGA VLOG:
First day back at the Disney Parks as annual passholders again! Hollywood Studios | DISNEY WORLD
2nd VLOG OF THIS DISNEY VACATION: Time for another Walt Disney World vacation and this time Skylan is with us! This is part two of today and we are going to Hollywood Studios because it was the last park we visited before our passes expired, so we want it to be the first we visit as Disney annual passholders again. We have dinner in Toy Story Land and of course ride some rides. We watch the How They Filmed the Percy Jackson Disney+ series.
IN THE 1ST VLOG: We drive from North Carolina to Orlando, Florida and of course stop at a Buc-ee's along the way. We eat at Raglan Road in Disney Springs and visit Gideon's Bakehouse before checking into Disney's All Star Movies Resort. We are staying in the Love Bug section. We give you a room tour and then head off to Hollywood Studios.

2018 - Toy Story Land Problems Begin a New Era at Disney's Hollywood Studios
2018 at Walt Disney World was highlighted by the opening of Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Numerous problems became a symbol of Disney's new corner-cutting style that would come to define this new era for many fans.
Welcome to Timekeeping. This show will attempt to chronicle year by year changes to the Walt Disney World Resort. From the excitement of a new ride opening, to the minutiae of a store changing names. Join us as we celebrate 50 years of the Vacation Kingdom of the World.
The Magic Kingdom got rid of the talking Mickey Mouse character on Main Street U.S.A. Do you remember the Mad Tea Party looking like a dance club? Or Space Mountain operating in total darkness? Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party ended. Pirates of the Caribbean came back from refurbishment, but this time, the redhead was running the show. Club 33 locations started opening at multiple Walt Disney World parks, including Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Do you remember when the Maleficent dragon float caught fire? That was in 2018 too. And who could forget the Instagram wall at the Magic Kingdom? Exiting Space Mountain became a little bit more grueling, with the removal of the speed ramp. TRON Lightcycle Run construction began (and still continues).
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts went full-time. There were a number of changes to The American Adventure, including updated show and projection technology.
Toy Story Land opened with 2 new rides, very little shade and several notable problems.
The Pandora Utility Suit meet and greet was added to Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Rivers of Light had their live Cast Members cut from the show.
Maria & Enzo’s and the Hideaway bar opened at Disney Springs, along with several other restaurants and shops. A new bypass ramp opened near TTC, changing traffic near the Magic Kingdom forever.
Also in 2018, Disney World Resort Hotels started charging for parking. Foot Golf made its debut at Oak Trail. Monorails started to really show their age, with several notable unplanned incidents. There were also a number of other changes at the resorts, and much more.
