DIRECTOR’S NOTES:
Last year in 2019 the Beautiful Destinations team traveled around Egypt for three weeks capturing the entire country. BD team member Jake Irish and I (Chris Shepherd) traveled through the eastern part of the country while our teammates Ben Mikha and Cory Martin split off to explore the western part of the country.
Jake and I started in Aswan and sailed up the Nile River to Luxor where we saw ancient temples and artifacts that I had only read about growing up. We then traveled east to the Red Sea where the water was turquoise blue and crystal clear; it was not surprising that it has some of the best scuba diving in the world. We finished our journey in the Sinai Peninsula where the hospitality of the local Bedouins greeted us at every turn and the rugged mountains and vast desert landscapes took our breath away. At the same time Ben and Cory traveled where we could not in Alexandria, Siwa, Fayoum, the Black Desert, and the White Desert. We could not have done any of this without our local guide Ahmed Wahba who may or may not have slept the entire trip to get us the shots we needed.
Although Egypt is known for the Pyramids, the country was much more diverse and the eclectic landscapes we encountered made it my favorite travel destination. I hope this video captures how incredible Egypt truly is!

Costa Rica 2017: Top Things to Do ????
One month ago, my girlfriend moved to Costa Rica for her new job! I was lucky enough to help her move in but also explore the country. During my visit, we went on a road trip to explore Jaco Beach and Quepos.
Jaco Beach is a beautiful beach town with amazing food and bustling nightlife. We rented an ATV and toured around the city. However, we only stayed in Jaco Beach for one night as a pit stop for Quepos. This region was by far our favorite place in Costa Rica. Quepos is home to the smallest but one of the most geographically diverse and beautiful national parks in Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio Park. This park has it all - pristine beaches, gorgeous views, and playful mammals such as white faced monkeys and sloths!

Then, continue to La Paz Waterfall Gardens and enjoy a buffet lunch of traditional Costa Rican dishes. After lunch, explore the lush tropical rainforest. See the flowing white rivers, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies, monkeys, and hummingbirds before returning to San José.

Hey, guys! This short film is about our travel to Costa Rica, one of the best ecotourism destinations of the world!
It was an amazing trip and we are very proud of sharing those experiences with you..
We spend some days chilling in Puerto Viejo, a beautiful beach in the East coast of the country, then we spend a whole day rafting on our way to La Fortuna, the closest city to Arenal Volcano.
In the area, you can visit the world's largest hot spring (Baldi) and have a lot great experiences, such as canyoning around Arenal some great waterfalls. After spend some days in La Fortuna, we went to the one of the most thrilling experiences ever: the adventure village of Monteverde. If you like adrenaline, you definitely should try bungee jumping there. The ziplines are incredible as well. Anyways, if you life nature, adventures and a very friendly people, Costa Rica is a must-visit country!

Sabrina believes one of the great benefits of reserving a Costa Rica luxury vacation rental is privacy. When you rent the Discovery Beach House in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, you are renting an amazing luxury home. The property was once part of the Manuel National Park but fell outside the boundaries when they were legally established in the 1970s. However, no one told the wildlife, so you're likely to see three kinds of monkeys, two kinds of sloths, and other wildlife most every day.
You get the whole amazing home, pool, and jacuzzi all to yourself. You’re not sharing anything with anybody else but your crew.
