We spent the day at Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands and the timing was perfect... there was a big North swell running in the Atlantic so that meant fun times at the Bubbly Pools! The water was a spectacular turquoise this week, almost electric! After fun at the Bubbly Pools we took the dinghy around to Great Harbor and met up with Foxy at his famous bar on the beach, and he even sang a couple songs for us!

Rising Sun Great Camanoe British Virgin Islands
The short boat ride from Trellis Bay is a suitable introduction to the Rising Sun property on Great Camanoe. Significant because of the island's pioneer heritage, it's a gentle reminder of the passion of a few would be castaways, looking for a place to live, off the beaten path; and, to this day, the path to Great Camanoe is still a road less travelled.
Home to a handful of enthusiastic residents the island is far from a 'desert-island'; prudently developed and boasting paved roads, a marina and several beaches. The area around the marina is community property and includes a lending library. Rising Sun comprises four bedrooms, four bathrooms, an office, garage and workshop with a swimming pool, all set on over 2 acres of beautiful landscaping. The house has been continually upgraded and maintained over the years and looks better now than when it was first built.
One thing that has not changed much over time are the spectacular views from every angle - the Caribbean Sea, Atlantic Ocean and the islands of the BVI.
