Canada: The Ultimate Travel Guide by TourRadar 4/5

Canada: The Ultimate Travel Guide by TourRadar gives you all the info you need to explore this Northern nation like a pro. Learn some basics about the country, including what you have to do & see once you arrive, when it's best to travel and which food & drinks you definitely need to enjoy throughout your journey.
-----------------------------------------------
Canada is a stunning destination that provides travellers an endless natural playground to get lost in. From the incredible mountain ranges of British Columbia to the coves and cliffs of Canada's East Coast (and everywhere in between), the True North strong and free has it all.

The country is made up of 10 provinces and 3 territories, each with their own unique cultural backgrounds, adventurous activities and impressive landscapes. Consider booking a tour that focuses on a specific region so that you can experience it thoroughly - the country is huge, making it unlikely to able to enjoy everything if you rush across the country in a single trip.

Remember to pack clothes appropriate for the province or territory you’re visiting. Depending on the season you travel, pack everything from your swimsuit to your parka.

You can exchange your money into Canadian dollars in any major city, at airports or at the countless ATMs located throughout the country. Credit card and debit transactions are incredibly common, so in most case you will have no trouble using them in lieu of cash. Dining out doesn’t have to be expensive if you visit the right restaurants, and you'll have to cross off the classics like poutine, sugar pie and craft beer!

We'd like to thank a few of Canada's incredible tourism boards for allowing use of their travel footage:

— About Canada —
Canada's 10 provinces are Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Don't forget the Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut!

New Zealand: The Ultimate Travel Guide by TourRadar gives you all the info you need to explore this nation of Kiwis. Learn some basics about the country, including what you have to do & see once you arrive, when it's best to travel and which food & drinks you definitely need to enjoy throughout your journey.
-----------------------------------------------
New Zealand has a lot to offer even the most particular traveller. From the lively neighbourhoods of Wellington to the breathtaking Fiordland of the South Island, there's an adventure tucked away in every corner of this impressive country. Consider living out your own Lord of the Rings adventure in Hobbiton, or hike past Mt. Doom in Tongariro National Park. Not thrilling enough? Then skydive over Auckland, go white water rafting down Kaituna River or take a leap of faith and bungee jump in Queenstown! When you're in New Zealand, nearly ever adventure is only a stone's throw away.

Make the most out of your visit to this remote island nation by assembling your bucket list with our travel guide. Booking a tour will ensure your trip is fun, flawless and stress-free:

New Zealand boasts a temperate climate with plenty of sunshine and moderate rainfall. Because of the long coast line, you can expect mild temperatures for the most part. The average temperature decreases as you travel south; January and February are the warmest months with July being the coldest month of the year. Remember to pack your waterproof hiking boots, waterproof rain jacket, swimsuit, flip flops, thin gloves, hiking socks, sunglasses, and a camera with extra batteries.

New Zealand's currency is the New Zealand Dollar (NZ$). You should expect to be able to switch between cash and cards quite seamlessly, as all major credit cards can be used in New Zealand. Alcohol and restaurant meals can range from moderate to quite expensive so prepare yourself accordingly.

We'd like to thank New Zealand's incredible tourism board for allowing use of their travel footage:

---About New Zealand---

New Zealand, exists on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean and is home to over 4.6 million people, and nearly 30 million sheep.

The country is divided into two portions: the North and South Islands separated by the Cook Strait. The North Island is home to many hot springs and geysers while the South Island is mountainous, forested and covered in glaciers. Over 75% of New Zealanders call the North Island home, and more than 15% of New Zealand's energy comes from renewable resources.

Canada Road Trip: Best Things To Do In British Columbia

In this video, we share some of the best things to do in British Columbia, including the best things to do in Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Kelowna, and more!

Welcome to British Columbia!

Canada's west coast province is packed with jaw-dropping scenery and incredible adventures. Home to some of Canada's most varied landscapes, ranging from desert and ocean to mountains and forest, there truly is something for everyone in British Columbia.

We explored BC from Sept 6 - Sept 28, 2017.

Canada's Road to 150 was a 150-day Canada-wide multi-media road trip celebrating Canada's 150th birthday by exploring the uniqueness of this country provincially and collectively while answering the question; What makes Canada special?

We drove to and through every driveable province and territory, showcasing Canada's natural beauty and regional attractions while interviewing Canadians of all cultures and backgrounds, including local celebrities, immigrants, refugees, and everyday rural and urban Canadians. Our aim is to dig deep into what makes Canada such an incredibly inspiring country while showing off the best of Canada's tourism to Canadians and to the world.

Canada Travel Video Guide

Canada Travel Video Guide. Sighs alternate with gawps at the white-dipped mountains, mist-cloaked seascapes and epic northern roadways. And with more festivals than you can swing a moose at, you'll even forget it's cold.

Canada Travel Video Guide. The globe's second-biggest country has an endless variety of landscapes. Spiky mountains, glinting glaciers, spectral rainforests, wheat-waving prairies -- they're all here, spread across six time zones. Expect wave-bashed beaches, too. With the Pacific, Arctic and Atlantic Oceans gnashing on three sides, Canada has a coastline that'd reach halfway to the moon, if stretched out.

It's the backdrop for plenty of 'ah'-inspiring moments -- and the playground for a big provincial menagerie. We mean big as in polar bears, grizzly bears, whales and everyone's favorite, the ballerina-legged moose. You're pretty much guaranteed to see one of these behemoths when you leave the city behind.

Hope you like this amazing Canada Travel Video Guide!

Experience Alberta in Summer

What do you imagine when you hear “Alberta?” Is it snow-capped mountains, expansive glaciers, and icy temperatures? While Alberta’s winters are legendary, today we’re thinking about Alberta in the summer.

Alberta is home to some of the world’s greatest natural wonders, and they all shine particularly brightly in the summer. This gem of Western Canada invites travellers to explore turquoise lakes, rough desert badlands, and, yes, even the occasional snowy mountain-top. If you’re looking for a destination that truly has it all, a summer in Alberta may be absolutely perfect.

Enjoy hiking, sightseeing, plenty of wildlife, and water activities like kayaking and canoeing in this picture-perfect province. You’ll find national parks, pristine railways, trails for hiking and horseback riding alike, and, of course, a breathtaking view around every corner.

For the history-buffs and nature lovers alike, Alberta houses two of the world’s oldest national parks. Here, travellers are treated to lovingly-preserved vistas, and sightings of the animals that love to call this province home almost as much as the locals do! The unspoiled rugged landscapes in Alberta are what make it truly magical, and ripe for exploration.

If you’ve ever been on the internet, you’ve probably seen a photo of the enchanting turquoise waters of Lake Louise. This Instagram-worthy spot is one of the most unique and gorgeous areas of not only Alberta, but all of Canada.

We’re positive that there’s nowhere on earth quite like Alberta, and, after you’ve seen this video, we think you’ll agree! If you can’t wait any longer to explore this magical province, why not head over to TourRadar to see for yourself how easy it is to have a rugged Canadian adventure of your own.

My travels in Canada with Audley Travel

Audley specialist Lydia recorded this footage on a trip to Canada earlier in 2016 and had this to say about her experience.

My tour of Canada started in Vancouver. The Vancouver marathon happened to be taking place while I was there – I remember (rather guiltily) tucking into a large plate of pancakes while I watched the runners pass. Then I drove over to Alberta, taking the seaplane to Victoria on Vancouver Island. I was lucky enough to get a seat in the cockpit.
Other memorable experiences? Going on a guided hike in Clearwater. Seeing bears in their natural habitat in Tofino. Driving along the Icefields Parkway and visiting waterfalls and canyons en route. Heading east to Niagara Falls and stumbling across a tulip festival in Ottawa.
I finished my trip in the lesser-known region of Charlevoix, where, from my hotel room, I could see beluga whales surfacing in the river. I could go on…and yet Canada is so big that I still feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface.
