Best Mobile Safari in Botswana? Chobe | Moremi | Khwai | Okavango Highlights w/ Bushways

Highlights of our one week Fully Serviced Southbound Camping Safari with Bushways Safaris in Botswana. Our route started in Kasane and included Chobe Riverfront, Savuti/Zwezwe further in the heart of Chobe National Park as well as game rich Moremi / Khwai area. The mobile safari was non-participating, so everything was fully serviced with a very high level of guiding and bush accomodation in the middle of mother nature.

BOTSWANA TRAVEL DOCUMENTARY | 4x4 Safari Road Trip feat. Victoria Falls

Follow us on our road trip safari through southern Africa's wildlife paradise Botswana. We drove through most of Botswana, including all the wildlife-rich areas like the Moremi Game Reserve, Chobe Nationalpark including the Chobe Riverfront and the Kalahari. We explored the Makgadikgadi salt pans in the center of the country, the Gcwihaba Caverns in the West and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in the south. We also shortly ventured into Zimbabwe to marvel upon the majestic Victoria Falls. We were lucky enough to spot most of the big, and many small, animals which call Botswana home. These include elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, kudus, oryx, ostriches, honey badgers, bat-eared foxes, serval cats, warthogs, springboks, impalas and many more.

Safari Room 52 | Chobe Safari Lodge | Kasane | Botswana

Chobe Safari Lodge is the best in the area. So good that I extended my initial one night stay with another. Perfectly located on the banks of the Chobe it provides the ideal base for exploring the Chobe National Park. The rooms are big, have excellent wifi and breakfast is included. #travel #Botswana #5410Africa

Botswana Overland Safari | Savuti to Kasane, in the Okavango Delta | Episode 5

In this final episode of the Okavango Delta Overland Series, we pack up at the beautiful Savuti camp and start to make our way across the Chobe National Park towards Kasane.
This trip involves navigating through some really thick sandy roads, exiting Chobe at the Ghoha gate, crossing the Forest Reserve and then re-entering at the Ngoma gate. The drive along the river provides magnificent views of the Chobe river itself, and we are spoilt with beautiful sightings of Kudu, Impala, Giraffe, Zebra, Elephant, Baboon and Buffalo.
We eventually make our way into Kasane where we check into Chobe Safari Lodge for two nights - and explore the river on a sunset cruise, go tiger fishing and go on a final self drive safari to try and find the famous but elusive prides of Chobe Lions.

As our journey through this magnificent country comes to an end, we make our way back to Francistown from Kasane, and prepare for the long drive back to Johannesburg in South Africa, with one big goal in mind…to think about, and plan the next adventure!

Botswana Overland Safari | The Journey to Moremi in the Okavango Delta | Episode 1

Join us on our latest adventure as we head north to Botswana and journey across the country into the great Okavango Delta. Our expedition meets in Maun, the gateway to the Delta, where we make our way into the Moremi Game Reserve, and onwards to Third Bridge Camp. Along the way, we encounter a variety of wildlife, including Elephant, Hippo, Impala, Kudu, Red Lechwe, and Wildebeest - and we help one of our expedition team mates recover their vehicle after it gets stuck in some deep mud.

Chobe Safari Lodge Botswana

Answer the call of the wild in Botswana – Chobe Safari Lodge & Nata Lodge

Drive the A1 north, and the donkeys, cows, and goats soon give way to elephants, giraffes and even ostriches as you close in on the village of Nata. Click below for the full article.

An oasis perched on the edge of Botswana's celebrated salt pans, Nata Lodge is on the way to everywhere!

The nearby Nata Bird Sanctuary is typically home to arid salt pans but bursts into life with the summer rains. The Nata River fills the sweeping Sua Salt Pan, and travellers greet an ancient inland sea rich with birdlife when steering into the community-run reserve. These silky waters are remnants of a 'super lake' that existed hundreds of thousands of years ago.

Follow the call of the wild waters onward to Kasane and explore Africa's enchanting elephant capital on the Chobe River. Many boating safaris are on offer in Kasane, but Chobe Safari Lodge is closest to the Chobe National Park, with the fastest, easiest access to epic game viewing.

An expertly-guided cruise gently navigates these lively waters to sail past hippos, witness heaving herds of buffalo and pause for elephants crossing while cameras snap up all the action.

Both the famous Chobe Safari Lodge campsite and iconic Nata Lodge stopover offer individual campsites scattered below the boughs of tall trees. There is access to a power and modern ablutions with hot showers. Guests can access also luxury lodge facilities, such as Wi-Fi, sparkling swimming pool, a restaurant, sunny cocktail deck and an activity centre.
