Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went home to “normal life.” We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time. Van life was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. ????????

10 REASONS NOT TO MOVE TO PORTUGAL
In today’s video, we are discussing 10 reasons NOT to move to Portugal. Being a beautiful country with lots of history and culture it can be tempting to think that moving there would be a great decision, however, we want you all to carefully weigh up the pros and cons before making such an important choice. So, stick around till the end to see what these 10 reasons not to move to Portugal are.
1. Not being innovative
If you're someone who loves to move around and has a knack for trying something new, Portugal probably isn't the best option on your list. Sure, there's plenty of natural beauty, charming villages, and incredible beaches - but that can get a little boring after a while if all you seem to be doing is recreating the same postcards.
It seems like every time you turn around there are traditions meant to be followed without much room for creative thought or ideas. It means not having an opportunity to think outside the box and try something new.
And then let’s talk about business innovation - something Portugal sorely lags behind in when compared with other countries in Europe. The lack of clear rules governing areas such as finance or technology mean entrepreneurs often struggle more than they should if they want to create their own start-up or pursue some out-of-the-box idea. If you want a fast-paced life with innovations all around then you should avoid living in Portugal
2. Bad driving culture
The driving culture in this country is not something to be proud of. It's chaotic, unpredictable, and downright dangerous!
To put it bluntly, Portuguese roads are an absolute hazard! Drivers tend to speed on highways and often weave in between lanes without warning. There are plenty of instances where drivers will overtake on blind corners or hills with dangerously little space available – making it incredibly unsafe for other road users.
And if that wasn't bad enough, there's also the problem of distracted drivers who can't seem to keep their eyes off their phones while they travel down the highway at breakneck speeds! This often leads to them missing traffic signs or lane markings which results in near misses between cars - no thanks! Bad driving culture is one of the most-overlooked reasons not to move to Portugal.

Norway: Ringebu Stabkirche→Rondane national park→Röros Smelthytta & Olavsmine (part 2/13)
Day 2: we leave Lillehammer, visit the stavechurch of Ringebu, hike a little in Rondane national park and arrive at 2 pm in Rösos. Walking to the old town we visited the church and the smelthytta. Later we drove easterly - 10 km out of Rösos we attended the Olavs-cooper mine, one of the highlights in Norway.

Go early or get a fastpass (if you can!) is my advice for this one.

uminous can be enjoyed from almost anywhere around the lagoon, but closer views to the railing are preferred for the full effect of fountains and effects:
- Showcase Plaza: Offers a perfectly centered view. Arrive about an hour early to secure a spot. Note that parts of Spaceship Earth lighting up might not be visible from here.
- Entrance to World Showcase: Provides a straight-on view with less stress for claiming a spot. It's further back and partially obstructed by trees, but allows for a quick exit.
- Japan and The American Adventure Pavilion: Offers a great view for all fountain effects and Spaceship Earth lighting up. The second floor of Mitsukoshi Department Store in Japan is particularly good, but space is limited.
- Italy: The area jutting out into the lagoon and the bridge offer elevated views. Be aware of potential reservations for special events.
- Other Good Spots: La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico, between Mexico and Norway, the International Gateway Bridge, and between Canada and the U.K.
- Accessible Viewing Areas: Located in the U.K., between Italy and Germany, and on both sides of the central World Showcase Plaza. These fill up quickly on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Unconventional Spots: Certain pavilions like China offer less crowded views but are obstructed. World Celebration offers far-away views, and watching from the park entrance is not recommended due to obstructions.
