1) Horseshoe Bay is the premiere beach of Bermuda. Go here to see and be seen.
2) Admiralty House Park and Clarence Cove are where the locals play. Cliff jumping and picnics are all-time staples.
3) At Coopers Island you can be among nature in secluded romance and pass the time on the many walking trails.
4) Sea Glass is a telling name for this beach. Go here to see the natural glass from the salt water ocean wash up on this beautiful beach in Somerset.
5) Tobacco Bay is the ultimate party beach. It offers music, drinks and dancing around-the-clock for every type of traveler!

Everything You Need to Know About Horseshoe Bay Beach, Bermuda - One of the World's Top #10 Beaches!
Widely considered one of the best beaches on planet Earth, and runner-up by USA Today for Best Caribbean Beach - even though Bermuda isn't in the Caribbean. Horseshoe Bay Beach has everything you could ask for. Located in Southhampton Parish, one of the nine parishes in Bermuda, this beach is renowned for its white and pink sand. Horseshoe Bay has the most beautiful cyan, turquoise, and aqua colored water. Moreover, this seaside getaway is clean, safe, spacious, picturesque, the water is clear, it has conveniently located bathrooms/changing rooms, a bar, food, and trails for hiking/exercising. Also, you can rent accommodations at Horseshoe Bay such as beach chairs, umbrellas, and other equipment. Known for its convenience and ease of access, there are multiple modes of transportation that you can use to get to this beach including: taxi, carpool, bus, motorbike, electric car (Twizy), electric scooter, and more. There are several animal species that you might see here including: parrot fish, long tails, red land crabs, Portuguese man of war (they're poisonous), and even on rare occasion migrating humpback whales during whale season. There is a place for children if you have any. Baby beach is conveniently located off to the right as you walk onto the beach. Its water is very calm, much like Horseshoe Bay's, and provides a good opportunity for your little one to enjoy the ocean, but in a more controlled environment. Feel free to lounge at your own leisure, go for a run early in the morning, kite surf, surf in general, snorkel, or play a game of beach volleyball. The possibilities feel almost endless and I guess that is why this place is viewed by so make beach lovers and experts as one of the best beaches in the world.
During the filming of this video Horseshoe Bay Live (Bar/Restaurant) was doing renovations, so apologies if it is either closed or looks totally different by the time you visit.

There is plenty more to do/see on the Island that we didn't get around to, but we saw a good amount in the roughly 5 days we were there.
FOOD (breakfast and dinners were at the Pompano Beach Club)
other eateries we tried:
- Swizzle Inn (we enjoyed the fish sandwiches here)
- Bailey's Ice cream (across the street from the Swizzle Inn and next to the Crystal Caves)
- Art Mel's Spicy Dicy (small takeout joint with great fish sandwiches; there was no seating in or outside when we visited - we took a quick bus back to downtown Hamilton and ate on a bench there)
- De Island Shack (casual spot for sandwiches and more)
- Wahoo's Bistro & Patio (in St. George's, casual sit-down restaurant)
We got around the island via the public bus which is easy to navigate. Taxis are more expensive, but weren't too bad. I recommend taking the bus unless you are pressed for time or have a lot of luggage on you.

Bermuda is known for its beaches, such as the Horseshoe Beach in Bermuda. If you are planning to give Bermuda a visit or planning to live in Bermuda, seeing the beach trails in in Bermuda should rank in your top 10 things to do in Bermuda. This sandy trail is one of the best hidden places in Bermuda and it is not very easy to discover. It does lead to a pink sand beach which is a must see when visiting Bermuda.
It was a wonderful weekend so we decided to walk through the sandy trail behind the south shore beaches. Started from Warwick Long Bay and went to the Chaplin Bay and back.

TOP BEACHES - SOUTH SHORE - BERMUDA
Plus belles plages - South Shore - Bermudes
Horseshoe Bay Beach

La plage de Horseshoe Bay est incontestablement une des plus belles plages des Bermudes et elle même classée parmi les plus belles plages au monde.
Comme son nom l'indique, elle est en forme de fer à cheval. Le sable contient de minuscules morceaux de coraux qui créent cette teinte rosée Elle est idéale pour la marche.
On retrouve à cet endroit un restaurant, un bar, salles de bain, douches et les services de location de chaises de plage et d'équipements nautiques sont également offerts.
Port Royal Cove
Coordonnées GPS: 32°15'01.9N 64°49'24.0W
A la droite de la plage de la baie Horseshoe se trouve la charmante petite crique appelée Port Royal Cove. Elle est entourée de rochers et c'est l'emplacement idéal pour amener les enfants s'y baigner car les eaux sont calmes et peu profondes.
Peel Rock Cove
Coordonnées GPS: 32°15'09.2N 64°49'09.8W
Cette magnifique petite crique est située à gauche de la très populaire plage de la baie Horseshoe. Elle possède également un sable rose et l'eau présente une belle couleur turquoise.
Étant protégée par des rochers, ses eaux sont calmes et peu profondes. Elle est également située à l'abri du vent. C'est une plage populaire auprès des familles avec de jeunes enfants.
Middle Beach
Coordonnées GPS: 32°15'10.1N 64°49'07.3W
Middle Beach est une superbe plage située sur la rive sud de l'île des Bermudes, non loin de la populaire plage de la baie Horseshoe.
Elle est accessible par un petit sentier qui longe la mer et qui vous permet ainsi de découvrir les plus belles plages de l'île.
Il s'agit d'une autre belle petite crique située dans le parc South Shore. Si vous préférez la tranquillité, alors c'est l'endroit idéal pour vous prélasser au soleil puisqu'elle est peu fréquentée.
Wafer Rocks Beach
Coordonnées GPS: 32°15'11.4N 64°49'05.5W
Elle est accessible par un petit sentier qui longe les plages du parc South Shore et même par la mer lorsque la marée est basse.
Elle est isolée par des rochers qui séparent les plages les unes des autres.
L'endroit est également propice pour faire de la plongée en apnée.
Angle Beach
Coordonnées GPS: 32°15'12.8N 64°49'03.2W
Une autre superbe plage située dans le parc South Shore. Elle est accessible par un sentier situé en bord de mer entre les plages de Warwick Long Bay et Horseshoe Bay.
La plage est sauvage et aucune installation n'est disponible. Cependant, c'est l'endroit idéal pour profiter d'une certaine intimité.
Hidden Beach
Coordonnées GPS: 32°15'13.0N 64°49'01.0W
Cette plage est située entre la plage Angle et la baie Chaplin. C'est une plage vraiment isolée et elle n'est pas facilement accessible.
Pour s'y rendre, il faut emprunter le sentier qui longe le littoral et descendre une dune de sable. C'est une plage sauvage et aucune installation n'est disponible dans ce secteur.
Chaplin Bay Beach
Coordonnées GPS: 32°15'18.7N 64°48'51.4W
Cette plage est bien identifiée sur South Road. Il y a d'ailleurs un belvédère pour admirer cette baie.
Elle est entourée de falaises et elle peut disparaître presque complètement lors de grandes marées.
Comme elle est isolée, c'est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre.
La baie est en fait composée de deux plages. Elles sont séparées partiellement par une barrière de corail.
Jobson's Cove Beach
Coordonnées GPS: 32°15'21.2N 64°48'45.1W
Cette petite plage de sable rose est vraiment magnifique. Elle est isolée et entourée de hautes falaises, lui permettant ainsi d'être à l'abri du vent.
C'est une plage populaire auprès des familles avec de jeunes enfants puisque ses eaux sont très calmes.
Il est également possible d'escalader les falaises tout autour de cette plage afin d'obtenir une superbe vue panoramique du secteur.
Warwick Long Bay Beach
Coordonnées GPS: 32°15'24.3N 64°48'42.1W
Il s'agit d'une superbe plage de sable rose qui s'étend sur une longueur de près de 1 km. Elle est beaucoup moins fréquentée que la plage Horseshoe, vous permettant ainsi de profiter d'une plus grande intimité.
En escaladant les falaises escarpées à droite de cette plage, vous aurez non seulement une superbe vue de cette plage mais également de celle de Jobson's Cove.

Bermuda's Best Beaches | Lord Of The Flights

Bermuda has many beautiful beaches and bays. I set out to explore as many of the them as I could, in a tiny hire car and then share them with you. My favourite was Elbow beach and I was told that Horseshoe Bay is the most popular when the cruise ships visit Bermuda in the busier months.

Horseshoe Bay Beach is one of two beaches of the same name in Bermuda, with the other located at Tucker's Island: since the 1940s part of a peninsula that housed the former US Naval Operating Base, and is now called Morgan's Point.
