We spent some time visiting the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich, scuba diving with sharks, spotted eagle rays, and hawksbill sea turtles. Can't forget the ample time laying around just soaking up the rays.

This was our first time in Belize, Caye Caulker is a small little island off the coast of Belize with a population of roughly 2000 people. We didn't have much time but it was still a fun relaxing day :D

ROAD TRIP chez l'habitant au BELIZE - 2019
Le BELIZE petit bout de terre où personne ne va jamais et ne connais ; lové entre le Mexique et le Guatemala.
Pourtant célèbre par son « Blue Hole ». C’est la deuxième barrière de corail au monde qui s’étend sur 250 km de long, parsemée de centaines d’îlots.
Ce pays insolite recouvert à 70% de forêt tropicale réserve une multitude de trésors à voir et un véritable paradis pour la plongée.
C’est la terre des jaguars, tapirs, singes, iguanes, crocodiles, araignées, mais aussi des tortues, lamantins, raies , requins-nourrices, hippocampes...
Plus de 4000 temples maya enfouis dans la jungle luxuriante et dense.

THE BEAUTY OF BELIZE
Obwohl Belize mittlerweile nicht mehr ganz so unbekannt ist wie noch vor ein paar Jahren hält sich der Tourismus hier dennoch sehr in Grenzen. Insgesamt sind wir zwölf Tage durch Belize gereist und hatten dank TravelBelize die Chance sehr viel vom Land sehen zu können.
