The side of Boracay they don't show you ????????

In today's video, my brother and I take you with us for a really long day around Boracay mostly by foot. We start out with a hotel breakfast and then get stopped by some rain so we get a massage first. After the massage, we make our way along the beach to try out a restaurant on the water. After that we explore a lot more of Boracay by foot.

We are a middle aged couple that has left our hectic business lives to go sailing with our boat Fridá af Wisby and our cat Litza. Our goal is not to go to a specific place but to reach a state of mind where we can really enjoy life.

Anders has been at the sea most of his life and sailed for the Swedish national dingy sailing team as a young man. Gitte has also grown up with boats and spent every summer sailing with her father as a teenager but made a pause of about 15 years without sailing as an adult, had just begun to pick-up the interest before she meet Anders in 2017. Onboard we also have our cat Litza a 4 year old Devon Rex we call her the cattain because cats always decide over their humans.

Fridá af Wisby is a Wauquiez 47 pilot saloon that we Gitte and Anders bought in UK in 2019 and that we have sailed to Gotland and in season 1 2020 we sail in the Baltic Sea. During season 2 We sailded south to Dieppe Normandy France. After a winter in France in Season 3 we started to sail the Atlantic coast of Europe to Xufre in Spain where we lifted the boat over the summer while we where back in Gotland to work at our hostel we got there. Season 4 got a short sailing season where we only sailed to Lagos on the Algarve coast of Portugal where we hauled out once again this time to go throug a long list of boatwork and to build a solar arch to make the boat more self-suficient with electricity. After 6 months in Lagos we kicked-off season 5 with real bluewater sailing first to the northerly Atlantic island Porto Santo and Madeira and then further out to the Azores that lays in the middle of the Atlantic ocean before turning back towards the mainland and south coast of Portugal again.

The Mani Peninsula | SOUTH | Abandoned Town and Stunning Scenery | GREECE (5)

Head south in the Mani Peninsula and you will find some amazing scenery and an abandoned town. Join us as we head to the tip of the Mani Peninsula on this road day trip, taking in a few little gems, hidden towns and coves you will want to visit on your Mani trip!

We start in Mezapos and the incredible rocky cove with a stunning swimming cove only the locals seem to know about.
Map

Gerolimenas beach with its crystal clear waters and great fish restaurants could also be a super base in a remote part of Mani.
Map

Vathia virtually abandoned is a quirky place to walk around with the best views of the Mani coastline. 30 people are still supposed to live here but where are they?

Map

The tip of the Mani Peninsula has some great swimming and snorkelling along with a 45-minute walk to the lighthouse.

New England Road Trip in the Fall… by Camper Van! Wild Camp in the White Mountains

When I was about 14 I read a book called '1000 Journeys to Take Before You Die'. Those pages included stories about the Orient Express, tracking the spirit bears in Canada and driving the mountains of New England in the fall. Ever since then, these sweeping roads that wind through multi-coloured forests and over mountain passes have been a bucket list dream. This week we took one of the most famous roads in New England - the Kancamagus Highway - straight into the heart of the White Mountains, in search of those forests and views that I've dreamed of since I was a teenager.

↠ A BIT ABOUT US
We're Chesca and Ben, and with our two pups River & Scout (???? ???? ) we live and travel full-time in our self converted sprinter van, Sophia. We spent the past 2 years road tripping as much of Europe as we could, from the wild coasts of Portugal to the Syrian border in Turkey, tackling lockdowns and a van re-build along the way. But now, we're feeling like a new challenge. In the summer of 2022, we'll be shipping our van from the UK to Canada, on a mission to drive her all the way to Mexico baby! ???????? ????
