Jerusalem is a place we have known about since before we can remember. It was a surreal experience walking the streets of the Old Town today, but it was also emotionally draining for many reasons. We explored as much as possible in one day including the Temple Mount, the Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Mount of Olives, and of course, we ate some delicious local foods. But for some reason, this place wasn’t like we pictured it being.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! Unlike regular videos, while watching 360° videos YouTube show us only a specific field of view similar to human eye (by default 100 degrees out of 360). As a result, the resolution of the visible part of 8K video uploaded to our channel is around 2K (1920p). If you watch in 4K mode the resolution of the visible part would be even less - around 1080p (1K).
Please note that AirPano team originally shoots its films in 16,12,10,8K resolution, depending on year and cameras used back then. But before upload to YouTube channel we downscale all our videos to 8K.

It is possible to walk above the central souk along the rooftops of the city. Visitors can climb up to the rooftops via a small staircase at the corner of St Mark's Road and Khabad Street.

The Western Wall, or “Wailing Wall”, is the most religious site in the world for the Jewish people. It is the western support wall of the Temple Mount.

Is a hill located in the Old City of Jerusalem that for thousands of years has been venerated as a holy site, in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam alike.

The original dome collapsed in 1015 and was rebuilt in 1022–23. The Dome of the Rock is in its core one of the oldest extant works of Islamic architecture.

is a route, believed to be the path that Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion.

Join me on an eye-opening journey as we visit the Western Wall and the Tomb of Jesus in Old Jerusalem, Israel. The Western Wall, also known as the Wailing Wall, is a sacred site for Jews and a place of prayer and reflection. As we approach the wall, the energy and emotion of the place is palpable.

WELCOME to JERUSALEM - TOUR of the OLD CITY (travel vlog)
Jerusalem is considered by many to be the holiest city in the world as it has sacred sites for the Jews, Christians, and Muslims. The old city of Jerusalem attracts pilgrims from these faiths, and has been fought over and conquered by many groups over the years. I recognize that this is an area of extreme importance to many people so please keep comments civil and respect all faiths.
In this video, we explore the four quarters of the city and see some of the most historic and sacred sites.
Mount of Olives - Panoramic view of Jerusalem and preferred burial site of the Jewish people.
Church of All Nations - Beautiful church built next to garden of Gethsemane.
Tomb of King David - Jerusalem is King David's city, and he is buried in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem Walls - We enter Jerusalem through Zion Gate. We also pass by the Golden Gate which is sealed and has significant meaning to Jews as it is where the Messiah will enter the city when He comes to rule.
Gethsemane - Garden where Jesus prayed before the Crucifixion. Features trees from the time of Christ.
Church of Holy Sepulchre - Church built in the 4th Century, and arguably the most sacred site in Christianity as it is built on the site where Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected.
Via Dolorosa - Path where Jesus walked during the crucifixion.
Kotel (Western Wall) - Holiest site in the Jewish faith and only remaining relic of the Temple Mount. During our trip, there was a party in this area because someone had just completed writing the Torah.
Jewish Quarter - We walk through the Jewish Quarter which leads to the Kotel.
Armenian Quarter - Jerusalem has a large population of Armenians who settled here.
Christian Quarter - The Christian Quarter contains the Church of Holy Sepulchre and Via Dolorosa.
Muslim Quarter (Not featured) - But I was able to see the Dome of the Rock in the distance.
