Police Hassle Us on Pakistan Sleeper Train ????????
Watch as British couple, Jack and Paige take the overnight sleeper train from Hyderabad to Multan in the famous Pakistani economy class. We meet interesting characters at Hyderabad train station and purchase our snacks for the journey. After taking another load of selfies it was time to board the train. We were nervous about what kind of seating we would get because the train was so busy and despite the journey lasting more than 12 hours, we didn't get a bed to sleep on.
Unfortunately, then the police frequently disturbed us about our seats, they were uncomfortable with foreigners being in economy class with unsubstantiated claims of its lack of safety. We were forcibly moved to a different carriage by a policeman holding a machine gun and despite their insistence that it was for our comfort and safety, the entire journey felt hassled and entirely uncomfortable. Despite trying to sleep, 2 policemen and a train conductor then sat with us for a significant period of time wanting to take selfies and drink tea, even though we were asleep prior to them disturbing us.
We arrive in a freezing cold Multan, an ancient city of the Sufi saints, and take a rickshaw to our hotel. After a quick room tour, we get some sleep before a big day in Multan which you will see in our next video.
