► WHO AM I?

I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that, for so long, I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!

P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American, and he's actually camera-shy. That's why he's behind the camera most of the time ????

This summer, sun-soaked days and balmy nights beckon from South Australia. Pull up a seat at a bar on the beach and sip cocktails without taking your toes out the sand. Settle in among rolling vineyards for happy hour in a giant Rubik's cube, then go winery hopping in a helicopter as you soar sky-high above sea and vines just minutes from Adelaide. Cast off in a kayak and float along turquoise waters, exploring ocean grottos, sea side caves and secluded coves. Afterwards, kick on at a month-long party in the heart of the city then lose yourself down a labyrinth of laneways lined with bars and speakeasys. All in a weekend. All in Adelaide. South Australia. Adelaide, Australia - Driving Tour 4K

Adelaide (/ˈædɪleɪd/ (listen) AD-il-ayd; Kaurna: Tarntanya) is the capital city of South Australia, the state's largest city and the fifth-most populous city in Australia. Adelaide may refer to either Greater Adelaide (including the Adelaide Hills) or the Adelaide city centre. The demonym Adelaidean is used to denote the city and the residents of Adelaide. The Traditional Owners of the Adelaide region are the Kaurna people. The area of the city centre and surrounding Park Lands is called Tarndanya in the Kaurna language.

Adelaide is situated on the Adelaide Plains north of the Fleurieu Peninsula, between the Gulf St Vincent in the west and the Mount Lofty Ranges in the east. Its metropolitan area extends 20 km (12 mi) from the coast to the foothills of the Mount Lofty Ranges, and stretches 96 km (60 mi) from Gawler in the north to Sellicks Beach in the south.

Named in honour of Queen Adelaide, the city was founded in 1836 as the planned capital for the only freely-settled British province in Australia.[16] Colonel William Light, one of Adelaide's founding fathers, designed the city centre and chose its location close to the River Torrens. Light's design, now listed as national heritage, set out the city centre in a grid layout known as Light's Vision, interspaced by wide boulevards and large public squares, and entirely surrounded by park lands.

Early colonial Adelaide was shaped by the diversity and wealth of its free settlers, in contrast to the convict history of other Australian cities. It was Australia's third most populated city until the post-war era. It has been noted for its leading examples of religious freedom and progressive political reforms, and became known as the City of Churches due to its diversity of faiths. Today, Adelaide is known by its many festivals and sporting events, its food and wine, its coastline and hills, and its large defence and manufacturing sectors. Adelaide's quality of life has ranked consistently highly in various measures through the 21st century, at one stage being named Australia's most liveable city.

As South Australia's government and commercial centre, Adelaide is the site of many governmental and financial institutions. Most of these are concentrated in the city centre along the cultural boulevards of North Terrace and King William Street.

???????? South Australia nightlife, Adelaide / Sunday walk 2023 [4K] / Hindley street

Today we're exploring South Australia night life. Night walk in Adelaide, Hindley street and downtown, bars, restaurants, clubs and happy people. I've got the feeling that I am exploring the UK nightlife.

Why Adelaide people sound British? There's a theory that the state's first European inhabitants — who were free settlers, not convicts — may have caused more proper or British pronunciations to stick around.

Adelaide is the best place to start your Australia adventure. With a modern bustling city framed by sandy beaches and vine-dotted hills, and a region packed with unique wildlife, great food and wine, and stunning national parks South Australia offers an incredible range of holiday experiences.

Adelaide is a city where people still greet you on the street without knowing you and very easily create friendly relationships with their neighbours.

city?
Adelaide is famed as the '20-minute city' since almost everything is just 20 minutes away from the city centre – including the beaches.

Adelaide, South Australia - 4K Ambient Walk

I jumped on a tram from Adelaide City for this 4K Walking Tour and in just 20 minutes I was soaking in the sun at Adelaide’s favourite city beach, Glenelg.
This 4K Walking Tour includes walking along the foreshore, past many of the restaurants dotting Jetty Road, boutique shops and of course a church.
Glenelg is one of the best places in Adelaide for a 4K walking tour, and I really enjoyed wandering around with my camera.
It's a really nice part of Australia.

We Fell In Love With South Australia | One Week Road Trip

We had already visited every state in Australia except for South Aus; so we thought it was about time to pack our bags and experience what this state had to offer. We spent a week on the road visiting the Fleurieu Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula & Flinders Ranges. We were unexpectedly blown away with the raw beauty of this coast line, which I'm sure you will be too after watching this.

Thanks to Jetstar Australia for partnering with us on our trip!

Hahndorf is located in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, and is classified as Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement. It is only less than half an hour drive from Adelaide CBD.

It’s known for its original German-style architecture and artisanal food. Stroll the tree-lined main street and discover shops, leather smith, galleries, German-style pubs, jeweler, a craft brewery, winery cellar doors, gin distillery, free cheese tasting, chocolatier, traditional sweet shops, multicultural restaurants and cafés, mini-golf and strawberry picking.

Hahndorf is very popular among locals and tourists. If you plan for a day trip, you should try to get there early to avoid the crowds, limited parking and long queues at restaurants. We had a really good day. Kids love strawberry picking the most and we love German beer.
