For today's Minute Monday, here's a travel vlog from Takawiri Island on Lake Victoria in Western Kenya.
I love being by the sea, as you can tell from the various travel vlogs from the kenyan coast o this channel. I recently visited Takawiri Island with the Kenya Tourism Board (went to the 2017 Rusinga Festival), and I must say that this is now one of my favourite spots in Western Kenya. Sand, clear blue water great for swimming, fishing, paddle-boarding etc, palm trees, bright boats...what's not to love?

Mfangano Island Lodge is in Kenya, on Mfangano Island, in Lake Victoria.
In a secluded bay, on the northern coast of the island, among ancient fig trees and huge boulders. The lush hillside and lodge surrounds are abundant with indigenous plants and flowers. In the early morning, fleets of multi-coloured fishing boats gracefully sail past the bay, and in the evening spectacular sunsets are seen as the sun dips below the unbroken horizon of the lake.
