Number 6.PONDER MODERN ART AT THE SAN MARINO NATIONAL GALLERY Ponder modern art at the San Marino National Gallery
The San Marino National Gallery has more than 1,000 pieces of modern and contemporary art. The collections from the 20th century have been put into four groups, each of which represents a different time in San Marino's history. Some of the best artists in Italy, like Renato Guttuso, Giuseppe Spagnulo, and Emilio Vedova, have pieces here. There are also works by local painters and sculptors to enjoy and this should be on your list of things to do.

Number 5. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TAX-FREE SHOPPING
Take advantage of tax-free shopping
Take advantage of San Marino's tax-free shopping and spend money without feeling bad about it. When you look through the stalls at the Borgo Maggiore Market on Thursdays, you can find unique crafts, clothes, food, and much more. It dates back to 1243, when it was known for cattle trade fairs. Now, shoppers have a lot more options, which is great.

Number 4. TUCK INTO SEAFOOD AT THE OSTERIA LA TAVERNA
Tuck into seafood at the Osteria La Taverna
At Osteria La Taverna, which is in the middle of one of San Marino's main squares, you can get great seafood. With a glass of full-bodied sangiovese red in hand, the terrace is a great place to watch people or just take in the view of the Tuscan hills. Try the tasty spaghetti with seafood or the potato gnocchi with cod. The osteria also has regular theme nights, and the chef, Luigi Sartini, also runs the Michelin-starred restaurant Righi, which is right above the osteria.

Number 3. SIP WINE AT CONSORZIO VINI TIPICI
Sip wine at Consorzio Vini Tipici
This vineyard colony is a must see and thing to do for both wine experts and people who just like to drink wine. It is where all the winemakers from the Republic of San Marino work together. With high-quality grapes, the wines are the best in the business, and there are plenty of experts to help you choose the perfect drink. The Biancale di San Marino, which has a fruity taste, is a sure winner.

Number 2. RIDE THE SAN MARINO FUNICULAR
Ride the San Marino funicular
Take the cable car in San Marino and fly over the rooftops of Borgo Maggiore as you look out at the Adriatic coast. The funicular goes from a lower station in Borgo Maggiore to an upper station in the center of San Marino. Tourists and locals who need to get to work use the funicular. A word of advice: get to the parking lot early or you might miss out on a spot.

Number 1. STATUE OF LIBERTY, SAN MARINO
San Marino
One of San Marino's symbols, the Statue of Liberty, is in the square in front of the building. It is a statue made of Carrara marble. Countess Otilia Heyroth Wagener of Berlin gave it to the Republic of San Marino. This square is perfect because it has a beautiful view of the hills around it. In fact, the square is a natural balcony where you can see the view.

So these are the top 10 best things to do in San Marino. Do you agree with our list and think that viewing Statue of Liberty is this the best thing to do in San Marino? Share your views in the comments section below and don't forget to subscribe to our channel The Travel Boss. Thanks for watching.

Why DON'T People Visit SAN MARINO? A Hidden Gem of Europe

I visited the world's fifth smallest country, San Marino, and explored everything there is to do in this hidden gem of Europe.

Just around 33 500 people live in San Marino, at an area of 61 square kilometers. It's one of three countries in the world that's completely landlocked inside another country. The other two are the Vatican and Lesotho - but this is definitely the most beautiful of the landlocked countries.

The most famous landmark of San Marino is probably the three towers located on the three peaks of Mount Titano, which is where the capital of San Marino is also located. The three towers are called Guaita, Cesta and Montale. Montale, the third tower, is not open to the public, but the other two are well worth a visit.

I also explore other things to do in San Marino, ranging from getting a San Marino visa at an exporbitant cost, looking at the Basilica di San Marino, looking at the different museums in the city, such as the impressive State Museum, and watching the changing of the guard at Piazza della Liberta, by the Palazzo Pubblico.

The Palazzo Pubblico also serves as San Marino's town hall, and it's an absolutely gorgeous place that's lit up at night.

Aside from beautiful views this video also dives into the history of San Marino, and various other places to visit, like Borgo Maggiore, a nearby town. There's surprisingly lot ot see in such a small country, so I hope you will find this interesting!
